So, ye come seeking adventure and salty ol pirates, eh? Then set sail for The Studio Chapters meeting on June 15th. In celebration of the upcoming Disney feature Pirates of the Caribbean, well be holding a Buccaneer Backyard Bingo Barbecue! Come dressed as your favorite pirate or saucy wench (we wants the redhead!) and play BINGO for priceless Disney treasures. (The cost to play BINGO is $1.00 per card per game, with all proceeds going to The Studio Chapter.) In addition to chances to win treasure and fine grub and grog, well have a prisoner... er, I mean a guest! The identity of our guest is as secret as where our treasure is buried, but that person was involved with Disney and Pixars latest animated feature Finding Nemo, and should have some interesting fish stories to tell us! Members of the The Studio Chapters crew should bring food to share in a fine pirate feast; The Studio Chapter will provide the burgers, hot dogs, and soft drinks. If you miss it, youll feel like walking the plank, so be sure to join us for a fun and exciting afternoon!
The Studio Chapter meets at 1:00 p.m. at the home of our Chapter president, Steve Putnam, in Encino; please contact The Studio Chapter for the address and directions. Members are requested to bring a food item to share at the barbecue; non-members are not required to bring an item but are encouraged to do so. Non-members are welcome to attend.
