Bubble wands still easy to find?

We bought one 5 days ago. We loved walking through all the bubbles that all the kids made!

I'm a mom of 4, and I never gave them these at the parks... I preferred finding other ways to pass the time in lines that didn't have the potential to disturb others.
Now - I absolutely DESPISE those things...cemented into my "hate" list when in the inside queue of BTMRR and a mom handed her THREE small children (5-7 ish) wands that they ran until freaking empty directly in front of my group until we boarded the train... while mom and dad stood IN FRONT of the kids, on their phones, oblivious.

Then, while enjoying a lovely snacky-snack from a F&W kiosk, sitting along a side wall near Canada, a family sat next to us to also enjoy their lovely snacky-snack.. but first released their child from the stroller, handed her the dreadful wand and said child ran directly in front of ME- looked me in the eye and pushed the button - literally, intentionally COVERING me and my (expesive) plates in soapy bubble mist - she laughed and thought it hilarious... I was deeply annoyed when I tossed 3/4 of my LeCellier Soup and tenderloin plate into the trash... I looked at her parents and said "not cute, not funny".. to which they both laughed.

In my best Grinch voice: Hate, Hate, Loathe, Hate..... :)

I don't buy my kids the wands as I don't want to carry them when they're not in use. However I've never had the negative experiences some have had and I enjoy the touch of whimsy they add.

I guess I never realized that these bubble wands were so hated by some. I have never noticed the bubbles to be coming out of the wands in as such great volume as described in some of these posts, but that is just my experience.
The number of those things being used has grown exponentially, I’d never noticed them much before - but 2 weeks ago it was insane how many clouds of bubbles were emerging from strollers. Plus I think they emit more but much smaller bubbles than in previous years. They used to emit medium sized thin skinned bubbles which IMO were pretty & even if one landed on you was NBD, but now they spew out bunches of tiny thick skinned bubbles that do leave a residue on you/your items if you’re unlucky enough to encounter a stream of them being spewed in your direction at close range & those little bubbles aren’t pretty they look more like dish soap.
As w/ all things Disney most parents actually parent & take them away when in close quarters with other guests or if they are seated in a dinning area (I mean come on - who wants soap in their food) it’s the clueless or the self centered types who aren‘t considerate that are the problem.

If these are the same things as Disney on ice that light up we had one that broke in about 3 days and only lights, another one we bought broke after about a month and won't light or release bubbles. For the price we were really surprised how cheap they seemed to be made.
