Bubba Gump's: - Update needed

For those who have been recently to Disney, I just wondered is the restaurant still proving popular or not?

Also, How big is their souvenir shop?

Isn't Bubba Gumps over at Universal's City Walk area???

We were just in the one at Mall of America..the food looked delicious, the drinks were excellent.

I don't think there is a Bubba Gump's Shimp at disney. I wish disney had a Bubba Gump's.

I thought Universal was getting one?

Bubba Gump is at Universal's City Walk. We were at both Universal and WDW in July. We just missed Bubba Gump's opening. We did eat at the one in Maui at the end of July, and it had a variety of choices which all were very good.

Now I'm DEFINITELY trying the one at the Mall of America next time we stop there!!! I LOVE coconut shrimp. Just had some at Rainforest Cafe at the mall this week.

There is NO Bubba Gumps at Walt Disney World.

It's at Universal City Walk. We ate there just over a week ago. It was my son's 13th birthday and he was determined that was the place he wanted to eat. We made the mistake of turning up just after 8.00 when the park had closed and had 1 hour wait (they dont' take ressies - I'd tried to make one earlier in the day). We waited for one hour ONLY because he'd set his heart on it - otherwise there is no way I would have waited to eat in a chain restaurant What a surprise when we got in - the service was first rate, the atmosphere really good (they also made a big show of my son's birthday) and the food was a real surprise - excellent, generous portions, well prepared and my entree, shrimp in some sort of broth with bread to dunk in, was one of the best of the holiday OK It's on the wrong forum, but well recommended - just make sure you get there at a decent time
