Christine I have seen pix of you and there is nothing that would scare small children Now if you don't want pix of you poledancing , the best way is to be behind the camera

Watch out .... Rosie might just start posting your picture where small children may not be .... think pole dancing clubs!!!

Naw I only pole dance of such things as monorails , boats etc !!

We headed to the Mayflower !!! By the way it is signed well which was good as we would never have found it without

Then it was offf to the Plymouth Rock

Someone said to report what I thought , well it is not anywhere near as BIG as you would think and it's signifigence was somewhat in question as apparently it was not mentioned in the early reports

A staff member there guided us to a VERY nice reastaurant "Cafe Nicole" I highly reccommend it !! It is small, but the food was wonderful Carol and I enjoyed the best fried scallops we had ever had , the waitress was truly awesome and the price was reasonable for the quality and portions !!!
We wer having a good day, soo we headed back to Hyannis to do some shopping when........


A stray dog charged out of a store OMG this was our first of many experiences with Marilyn's reaction to dogs Carol received a pulled shoulder , but we kept her under control , from then on it was DOG WATCH non stop

My gosh...it looks exactly the same as when I saw it 55 years ago!! Hasn't changed an inch!!

Awww.....too bad about the dog...hope s/he didn't get startled by all the commotion! Glad Carol's shoulder is okay though.

Welcome Beth !!!Do let me know where Erich will be !!Carol and I are also going on another Free Trip in October , this will be our 3rd trip!!!

Happy 4th of July!!, a bit early. Just taking a minute to catch up. Erich will be at the Animal Kingdom until Sept starting this Sat, just in time for the holidays!!. We have not heard what he will be doing.

Rosie, he will still be at Disney, he does not know where or what he will be doing after his stint in Animal Kingdom in September, all we know is that it will be HR related, as he is there doing a HR internship. Not sure if we will get down to see him, Lessa is hoping that her break week in Oct will not be packed with projects ( We have heard that 3rd year nursing is very demanding and busy), and I am looking for a job, I lost my job last Nov due to restructuring, and am currently in a contract with our University that ends in Sept, so everything is on hold. So, I am living vicariously through trip reports and Erich.

Today we were off to Provincetown( AKA DOG Town )
It was about an hours drive and we arrived in good time for our 12noon Whale Watch . It wasn't long before we realized that this is DOG city , they were everywhere . To most this NOT a problem to us it was a DISASTER in the making.
Carol deemed me the BEST Dog Watcher This entailed scouting ahead , across the street peoples laps (oh yes they held them on there laps while they sipped their drinks ) After numerous encounters which involved spinning her around to look at anything or nothing , we decided to head to the pier Really cute. little stands with merchandise , lots of boats anchored AND LOTS of DOGS:lmao

We anxiosly waited boarding time and we were allowed to preboard thanks goodness !!Phew we think.I carefully place her close to the window and blocked by 2 others , we get everyone seated and suddenly Carol had this look of HORROR on her face annnnd on board comes a dog !!!As we spring into action , we realised how wise it was to seat her where we had as it gave us time to block further sightings of the dog. I quickly enlisted the help of the 2 young men who were running the snack bar and they talked to the dog's owners and we never saw that dog again
The boat ride was rather choppy which caused a green tinge to Carols face So while we were moving it was my job to take them to the HEAD!! A feat I might add was an adventure with water splashing and boat rocking. But in true blue blooded spirit I completed my missions !!

Carol was actually okay when we stopeped to WHALE watch and enjoyed all the sightings

This was the only one I got an actual pix of, I have dozens of there she went But this I am proud of We saw dozens of whales and thousands of seagulls . I would definately do it again however I don't think Carol will , she said it sealed the deal NO Cruises for her

I am working hard on the next trip which is to UNIVERSAL!! Our flights are booked and are all NON STOP !! Good job Mary (TA) and leave at 8 am ish meaning we don't have to be at the airport till 6 a . This will be first time to Universal and I am fairly confident on the touring and where to eat !!My BIG question is MEARS Shuttle I have no clue where you catch it at MCO . HELP is neeeded !!!!!

The Universal Trip is September 20th thru 24th !!We are staying at RPR!!!! I just want as much info on Mears as possible , so I know ahead of time where to go !! This will be my first time of picking up luggage at mco too!!!

It's easy Rosie, just follow the Baggage signs for your terminal (big signs everywhere), then leave one of you at luggage and the other (not you!! lol) can look for the signs for ground transportation - the signs are clear and easy to follow. There are elevators to take you to the lower level (easy to find elevators). Once on the lower level, jsut look for Mears signs.

Maybe call Mears in advance and ask exactly where to go - will your TA book the Mears tkts on line?

I tried making a ressie for Mythos using open table but it wouldn't allow for 10 soooo I tried 5 thinking I could do 2 tables of 5 !!It wouldn't let me !!Any ideas or should I call Mythos or whoever you call for ressies at Universal !!HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!

You can email too...but I think it has to be within 30 days. If you click email us on the Universal Orlando website, there is a dropdown in the subject for Dining reservations. We never have an issue getting a reservation...and we are a party of 8...LOVE UNIVERSAL!
