I think I shared that my staff Mickey made the comment "Even People Older than you are graduating ":rotfl2: Of course he tried to push the words back in hos moth immediately but this is Rosie who ain't gonna let that go:rotfl2::rotfl2: My Boss was equally amused and it has been a subject of mirth ever since !!Well today a Headline in the paper says "92 year old Haulacaust survivor graduates " Needless to say he pointed that out to me !!!:rotfl2: A copy is in interoffice mail fro my boss who will be equally amused again !!!:lmao:

We have not heard we he will be a cast member yet. He will be a busy guy in this internship placement with 6 courses to complete, 4 through Uof F and 2 online for his HR program back home. I see that the he took the family rain curse to Florida with him with Tropic Storm Faye hanging over Florida. Lessa hopes to get down in October during her school break, we will see.

Continuing on with Cape Cod !!We were up early and headed to breakfast for the first of our complimentary breakfasts . Then we headed to
GEDC0690.jpg

We had some difficculty finding it as the Hotel directed us to the Warehouse , NOT the factory

Here we are in the very attractive grounds
GEDC0688.jpg

The tour it self is nothing more than walking down a hallway and watching chips on a conveyor belt:rotfl2: It ends in the gift shop ( does this sound familiar:lmao:)
Here we shopped and each received 2 free bags of chips , so all were happy!!
Then we headed to Plymouth and the Plimoth Plantation, we discovered that bcak in the days of the Mayflowere spelling was not set in stone and this was how the gove3rnor spellt it :confused3:lmao:

On entering the building we saw this

GEDC0691.jpg

It is called the MOO flower :rotfl2::rotfl2:

The Plantaion consists of an Indian Village and a Settlers Village ,
GEDC0697.jpg

We watched a canoe being burnt out
GEDC0693.jpg

Carol and I were busy keeping an eye out for any animals :lmao: We knew there was a barn and stayed well away from that:rotfl2:

We saw native americans cooking on upen fires , one pot had a delish looking seafood chowder

We then headed to The Craft Building where after a whole bunch of school kids on a field trip left the woman was glad to show us her potters wheel
GEDC0704.jpg

We stopped for lunch at the Nantuxet Cafe on premises and all enjoyed, hamburgers fish fries and pizza , was quite good and reasonable and a whole lot easier than looking elsewhere :thumbsup2

The settlers village was next

Stopped for pix with settlers

The terrain was somewhat rough and so we didn't venture to far into the village , instead we headed out to the Msyflower which is about 3 miles away !!!

Stay tuned !!!

Great pics, Rosie! :thumbsup2

Gee, that's some tour at the Chips factory!! :rotfl2:

I'd forgotten that the Mayflower was not at the Plantation...but I haven't been there in about 55 years, guess that's a good enough excuse!!!:scared1::rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Never went with my kids when they were growing up because it was a popular school outing trip. ::yes::

Waiting for more....this is a rather drama free trip so far.:confused3 ;)

Yum chips!!! It is a good thing I live in Central PA - this area has the most chip and pretzel manufacturers. Plymouth Plantation looks like very interesting! Good for you avoiding the animals but it doesn't sound like it stayed that way!
