Well, maybe it will be WHAT instead of WHO!!!

If one poor woman has dementia (and you do too!), then is set up for forgetfulness!! Pretty much a sure thing! Don't have to be blind to be forgotten.

My mother was deaf in one ear - she suffered terribly as child and as an adult before and after surgery. But she could use it to her advantage....as a kid it always amazed me what she couldn't hear...and yet what she could!
Then as an adult I noticed how she simply turned her head when someone was saying something she didn't want to hear....then when you'd ask of she heard you (and I knew she did), she say, oh, you must have been talking toward my bad ear.

Carol has all the calls made and araanged pick up for the 3 from near Albany, they seem like a great group , we are pros at this trip now !!Carol is even more psyched than usual as she needs a break from her Mom

Okay latest updates !!!Carol has the snacks for the trip readyI started my calls for Cape Cod , have left messages for all and spoken to the Family Care Provider for one !!This happens to be the one that looked like a man !!She is 79 and still very active !! She doesn;t go on fly trips anymore as she is too likely to make some comment if they tried searching her that could lead to BIG Trouble according to her Car Provider
Can't believe this time next week we will be in Lake George !!

Today my Trip Tik for Cape Cod arrived and I am sooo glad it is the old style Trip Tik which I much prefer , mainly becuz I understand them much better I think it is gonna be a VERY long day !! The drive alone is about 9 hours and then we have a couple of pick ups at least and a lunch break so I am figuring we should arrive in time for supper somewhere !! Now added to the planning is finding restaurants that offer GLUTEN FREE choices I am planning on calling ther ones in each town we will be visiting that look good and asking ahead of time . I did find one that actually has a gluten free menu so that is WONDERFUL !!!!

I am working all day, Oh yea at time and a half

Only 3 days till I leave for the first of the Trips !!!Lake George here I come I am anxious to see if Carol gets HIT on again and should THE Elvis be staying at our Hotel I will have a Field Day !!!So Plans for this trip include a possible Lap Dance with an Elvis and hopefully his sequins wont be tooo painful!!!!I think I will start a TR thread for each of the Trips and continue the plans on this .

What are everyone's plans for today . Mine as you know are WORK , but I am making potato salad, tomato and cuke salad , and Char is cooking Hamburgers and Hor\t dogs on the grill, watermelon is on hand too !!!! So I will be having a Picnic !!Not sure what Judy and the family are doing but seeing as she bought a new grill yesterday I am sure it will involve a cook out

We have a catholic holiday - had to look up the name in English though - it's called Whitsun or Pentecost and everyone has Monday off - teachers and pupils are extra lucky as we get Tuesday off too!
