I am not a fan of roller coasters, but I did enjoy Mine Train in March with my 8 year old son. How will this compare to BTMR? He rode Everest with my husband, and loved it, but we were not able to get on BTMR in March. We have fast passes in May for BTMR and I would like to ride, but I'm not sure how I will handle the drops. Trying to decide if I should sit it out or try it just once. Thanks for any advice.

BTMRR is tamer that Everest but more intense (I use that word loosely) than Mine train. We love it, the drops are not big drops and it really is a fun ride, I say give it a shot. It's also fun to ride at night.

I am kinda a ride wimp, I have no problem with BTMRR, I love that ride! But Seven Dwarves was a bit too much for me, I don’t like the drops at all, it just borders on what I can handle personally. I am way too chicken to try Everest lol.

I HATE roller coasters and LOVE BTMRR! There are no big drops (more like little hills), it just goes fairly fast (once in a few circles, which I think is fun!). Ride it at night for even more fun!

I'm a ride wimp and BTMRR is my absolute favorite. I rode Everest once and I don't think I ever will again because I hate the backwards part. I would give Big Thunder a try.

Different but not necessarily more intense than Mine Train. It's a little more "traditional" roller coaster than Mine Train (read, less smooth) but not in the nausea-inducing sense.
