We have a week scheduled here for next April school vacation. Haven't been able to find out much info. Has anyone stayed here? The location is good. Staying at the resort will allow us to go to the Liki Tiki's waterpark. Any input would be most appreciated.

All I know is its an older resort, not very big but gets decent reviews on Timeshare Users Group..

It's also an easy drive to get to Disney. It's right on Hwy 535 and just about .5 mile away is 536 which goes right into Disney. Very conveniently located! We didn't stay there, but right down the hwy from it at Embassy Resorts at Grand Beach.

Thanks for the info. I actually "Googled" the resort and found a detailed review on www.igougo.com.

Figment1964: Where are the Polynesian Isle Condos? How do you usually book them? Did you like the Embassy Grand Beach resort?

Always looking for a new place to try...just as I'm always planning the next trip, LOL !

Polynesian Isles Condos are on Polynesian Isle Blvd. just off of Hwy. 192, east of the Maingate area and I-4. Polynesian Isle Blvd connects Hwy 192 and 535 right about at the factory outlets. It's a little east of Old Town. It's our home resort so we either just book through them directly or get it through RCI.

We LOVED the Embassy Resorts at Grand Beach! I would stay there again in a heart beat! HUGE, clean units, nice grounds. They offer a lot to do during the day but we were never around to take part in those activities. They have finished phase 1 and will be beginning phase 2 in the near future adding 1 and 2 bedroom units. Right now they're all 3 bedrooms.

I have not stayed there, but we did drive over, park and walk around. It is an older resort, but still in good shape. I'd prob. stay there if nothing else was available. It was clean and full at the time we were there.
