Brussel sprouts or french fries?

That's one where I'd pick the sprouts, eat the sprouts and be pissed off the entire time I was eating them!!!

That said I LOVE when there are calorie counts on menu boards, I do make my choices based on calorie counts (and taking other things into consideration, ie, what the meal is actually made up of & can adjustments be made) At least then you know what you are getting and making an informed choice.

I'd still want the fries though...or maybe I just need some breakfast right now ;)

I would *SO* pick the sprouts! my favorite vegetable. I can eat at least a dozen in one sitting with nothing on them. :cloud9:

I love Brussels sprouts. I ate some for dinner the other day--just the sprouts--nothing else. That is one thing I like about living alone.......you can eat what you want when you want!

My kids call french fries 'cancer sticks' - something about how McDonald's cooks them at such a high temp that they are saturated in carcinogens?

I love raw brussel sprouts, or roasted sprouts. Steamed ones are too squishy, like steamed broccoli.

In our house it would be 4 for brussel sprouts, 0 for fries.

Weird question... I hope the sprout lovers don't beat me.

What do they taste like? I've seriously never had them. Don't even know how to prepare them to try...

Fries.

Gotta die someday, somehow.

If they open me up, they'll exclaim, "Hey, look-it! This cat could not have lasted one more day! Didn't even bother to take the butter out of the box!"

When you get tortured by your own gall bladder or pancreas or both, you might start changing your tune . . .

I like them steamed. They smell bad when they're cooking like broccoli and cauliflower do but they taste every bit as delicious as those vegetables.

I love both!

I have an amazing recipe for Brussels sprouts that includes cumin, lemon, red pepper flakes, and garlic. You start the marinade on the stovetop, toss with the sprouts, then cook in oven. Delicious!
