Thanks Nutsy. It looks like we both live in the SE of our Countries. Do you have a nice beach for the boys to play on?

Nice beach oh yeah.........plenty................

If we take a drive half an hour north we have our nearest surf beach & then if we go the extra mile to Caloundra on the Sunshine coast (1hr) then we have some really fantastic beaches.

Around here we have our nearest beach being 7mins away.....it's a good safe beach for kids & the dogs are allowed off leash down there too.

It's interesting to see this map. DH's workplace had a young guy from Australia visit for a while and he was from Perth. I had no idea that Perth was so far away from the other cities.

And people drive to Ayers Rock! That looks like a very long drive.

Oh yeah............ Ayers Rock takes days to get to........

To fly to Perth from Brisbane, takes about 9hrs............we can actually fly from Brisbane to Hong Kong in 8 hrs & it's direct. To get to Perth you have to go via Melbourne & sometimes even Sydney as well.
