Sunday, November 30th-Marcus' 6th Birthday!!!!!

Today we did Early Entry at the Magic Kingdom.
We were the second family down at the boat dock. The boat to Mk started running at 7:30. Once we got to the Mk, we got a stroller and off we went!!!!

First ride of the day was Pooh, then Buzz Lightyear. As we were getting off, a CM noticed Marcus' birthday button. He asked him who his favorite character was. Marcus shrugged his shoulders and said, "Mickey?" The CM told us to wait a moment and then came back with a Mickey pin for Marcus! Magic already! Then we went to see Mickey's Philharmagic. What a fantastic show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Definitely will be a must-see on all subsequent trips. On to Peter Pan and then Haunted Mansion (had about a five minute wait) ,then on to Thunder Mountain, Pirates, Aladdin, and the Treehouse. All of the rides were walks ons or just a five minute wait. Michael went to get us Fastpasses for the Jungle Cruise, then I went to check us in for our lunch at the Crystal Palace. We had such a great time here! The food and charactrer interaction were wonderful! All the Pooh characters came around. I forgot to mention that all seven of us had on our "Celebrating Marcus' Birthday at Walt Disney World" shirts with the Pooh characters in holiday garb on them. They brought Marcus a cupcake with a candle and a card that all the characters signed. They sang a birthday song and all the kids marched around the room. Lots of singing and napking twirling at this meal!

After lunch I decided to return to the Lodge, so everyone else stayed and rode the Jungle Cruise. I got back to the resort about 1:30 and started to pack up and then took a nap!!! About 2:30 DH and DS came in and took their naps. We needed them as we were all going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party that evening. I went over to my mom's room to hang out and then mom and I headed down to Roaring Forks to get dinner for our respective room mates! MIL and FIL were no doubt enjoying the goodies in the concierge lounge!

Around 6:00 we headed down to the dock. It was pretty cold so we took extra jackets to store in a locker.

MVMCP was wonderful!!!! A little more crowded than what I expected, but manageable. The snow on Main Street was very pretty. We headed over to Tomorrowland to see "Mickey's Twas the Night Before Christmas" which was really something. The kids had such a great time. We got our cookies and cocoa and lined up for the first parade in Liberty Square. The Christmas parade was the best parade I've seen yet. The individual carriages with the princesses were beautfiul and Chip and Dale on a float baking cookies was too cute! MIL and FIL wanted to see the Christmas version of the Country Bears show, so the rest of us headed over to Thunder Mountain where DH, DS, and Luc rode 3x in a row!!! Meanwhile, Wishes started and mom and I could see the fireworks perfectly from the exit of Thunder Mountain. After that we met up with FIL and MIL and slowly headed out of the park around 10ish. We were wiped out!!!

As we got on the boat back to WL we got to see the Electrical Water Pagaent for the first time!!!

Day 6-

Monday, Dec 1

We had an 8:30 am Ps for Whispering Canyon. Breakfast here was very good and lots of fun. Our table ended up with all the ketchup and then someone needed it , so my mom, Marcus and I walked all of those bottles over to that table. What fun!

We did some last minute shopping at the Mercantile and then headed on our way home. What a great trip, but I think five nights is a little long for us. We will stick with the weekend trips!!!

DH and I already have our room for January booked at Disney's Pop Century Resort!

What a way to spend a magic birthday - thanks for posting!
