We went in 2006 for my DH's birthday and I thought it was good....but I never was strict w/the dinning plan or wanted to get the best value, I got it every time because I like knowing my meals were paid for in advance and I didn't have to care/carry cash/credit cards, so I cannot judge if it was "worth" two credits. In June, we are using quick service because it annoyed the family to have to stop and eat these big meals when we were there to have fun and besides, we live in Chicago and have world-class places here, so WDW places never measured up for us. That said, we really enjoyed Brown Derby. The atmosphere was nice and we had very good service. The Cobb salad is tasty, but for those of us who live in Chicago or LA, its like the chopped salad at Portillos. Which is a GOOD thing! I didn't have the grapefruit cake there, but the waiter gave me a card with the recipe on it (also a card with the cobb salad recipe) and I've made it several times and it is really good. I agree with the posters who say go for lunch and pay OOP, if the use of 2 credits bothers you. I have to say, it is magical at night...the trees outside are covered in twinkly lights and they play this cool, old music. I caught it on video and it is amazing.
Price-wise, it is on par with Le Cellier, which is one credit, so I am not sure why it is 2....
