I noticed that the Brown Derby menu has changed their steak item (in addition to a lot of other items, but the steak is what we wanted when we booked the ADRs about a month ago).
It went from this: "Char-grilled Filet of Beef over White Truffle Whipped Potatoes, Mushroom Ragout, and Red Wine Reduction"
to this: "Char-grilled Filet of Beef with Cotswold Butter over Fingerling Potatoes, Asparagus, Ugly Ripe Tomatoes, and a Broken Cabernet Shallot Vinaigrette"
To say the first sounds better to us is a complete understatement. It went from our favorite foods and flavors to a lot of stuff one or both of us aren't fans of.
Does anyone know if this is a permanent change to the menu? Has it gone into effect yet?
I noticed that the lunch with an imagineer menu still has the previous steak offering. Is there any chance we could request the previous version or are we just out of luck? Or is the imagineer menu just outdated?
If it's our only choice, then that's ok and we'll order something else, but I was just curious if someone could shed a little light on this. Thanks for any help!
