Is it really worth all that money? Can you pick anything on the menu? I have read so many conflicting things. I was wondering if anyone has done it recently and could fill me in on what the menu choices were like. We are already doing plenty of buffets during this trip, and i would like to avoid yet another one with H & V. We are not fans of Mama Melrose, so Brown Derby is our only option. I would love any input, especially from anyone who has been there recently!

WE too weren't thrilled with H&V nor Mam Melrose - so like you, only option for FP at end October/beginning November was the Brown Derby - had previously avoided as seemed so expensive.

It turned our to be a great experience - one which we are repeating in July. You could pick from the entire menu - for all courses - they charge a fixed price - it was worth it for us. I had steak and DH had the tuna steak - a little bit 'nouvelle cuisine' for DH (i.e. smaller portions than he would have liked) but all in all it was my favorite - a nice relaxed (and cool) respite from the heat. (Why is it so hot inside MGM Studios???)

Do you remember which courses were included? Are you allowed to pick from the menu for each course? Thanks so much for the info!!!

You get to choose a starter, entree and dessert from the regular menu (so we had our money's worth). The kids menu wasn't so bad either. Soft drinks were free but DH paid extra for a couple of beers. I honestly thought it was a better deal than MM or H&V.
