Watching Brother Bear now with family. Opinions?

It's actually one of my family's favorites. My girls will watch it over several choices.

Have never seen it. In fact, we forget it even exists. We saw something about it the other day and were like, "Oh, yeah. That was a Disney movie wasn't it?"

I guess we should put it on our Netflix list to at least try it once...

This made me laugh out loud. My kids are 14 and 17, this movie came out 8 years ago. We are a huge Disney fans so we had gone to see every movie in the theaters when they came out. This was no exception. I didn't think the movie was up to the usual Disney standards, but I liked it. My kids were disappointed it in. Especially my son. He is the 17 year old and still teases me to this day about that movie. He refused to see it ever again. I have no idea why he has chosen to ostrasize this one Disney movie, but he just didn't like it. I am sure your family will enjoy it, it was a sweet movie. I think more than anything it has become a way to affectionately tease me, so he will still mention it from time to time. Have fun watching, I am sure you will be glad you did!

We ended up enjoying it, but not anything special. The first half of the movie really dragged, but the ending was good.
