Broswer location settings

For the past few weeks my web browser (Edge) seems to think that I am in the UK. All the website I get in searches are from the UK. I have gone into setting to my location but it still thinks I am in the UK. Anyone have any advice, a way to change this?

IP based geo location is not all that accurate. It is likely your ISP recently started using an IP range that at one point was tagged as being used in the UK. At some point the IP geo location database will be updated. Nothing you can do if this is the problem.

Do you use a device that you leave on all the time? If so, try shutting it down and restarting it. You could also try clearing your history and cookies. I have had to do that in the past with my iPad, because I don’t completely shut it down very often. Something like this is usually what prompts me to do so.

My laptop gets shuts down fairly regularly but will try clearing the cache, cookies, history. It’s worth a shot at the very least.

My browser thinks I'm in Buenos Aires. I get all kinds of ads in Spanish. It's been like this for probably a year. I've tried clearing cookies and resetting various things, but decided it's not worth the effort. It really only impacts if I'm searching for store locations or something on a map/directions.

My ipv6 address says I am in Seattle, WA while my ipv4 address says I am in Stone Mountain, GA.

Yep this happens all of the time. I have seen my locations bounce around all over the place.
