She loves jewelry.

The kids have brought in drinks, tons of chips, and a few cookies. We are also having ham sandwiches. They'll have a good time. Santa comes to school and hands out treat bags with candy, coloring books, and fruit.

After the kids leave at lunchtime, we will have a faculty lunch, the principal will tell everyone how much he appeciates them, and we will all stuff ourselves and go back to our rooms to take down Christmas decorations. We still have to stay a full day today and tomorrow, but that does force us to be at school and finish grades, so I guess it's a good thing.

I know what you mean about the smilies. I need them on Facebook. I can't dance on Facebook, or spin with my friends , or be frightened . That's sad .

I agree! I always find myself thinking or talking and picturing the DIS smilies in my head

So I was going through some pictures on my computer and I found this...Sorry it's so crooked, I had to use the scanner to get it on the computer and I was too impatient to fiddle with it until it was straight

We want to stay at all the resorts, but DVC will probably be a little hard for us. Jill and John almost bought in two summers ago, but then didn't sign on the dotted line after all. I guess they decided to buy into a new baby instead.

Just watch how fast the clock ticks for the next two weeks, though. So much faster than it ticks during school times.

From the Villas, I went back toward the WL lobby.

Past the arcade.

Mercantile. If you are in the market for a coonskin cap, this is the place to get one, as you can see right inside the door.

Down to Roaring Fork. Those walls are so cool.

After this wandering, I went back to the room to meet back up with Jill. I think this is the night the guys were going to DTD, so we were going off with just the girls.

Wilderness Lodge chocolates that were given to us by one of the ladies who were cleaning on our hall. She just gave us a handful as we were leaving the room. After we got outside, I decided we needed a picture of them.

So glad you saw the geyser going off! One time we were walking by it just as it was starting and it scared the living daylights out of us! We laughed SO hard.

B/F loves looking at all the fish and wildlife at the dock there. We've seen some pretty BIG fish before!

Hm..you are either headed to..the MK, the Contemporary, or FW since those are the three places the boats take you from WL.

Yes, it would be, considering that is cold and rainy here. Just think of the lucky folks that are down there right now enjoying that beautiful lobby and warm fireplace.

It did go well. It was nice and quiet in my room, and I worked diligently on report cards. I don't have much left to do to have them completed, so I am very happy about that. I don't know how report cards look where you guys are, but if I could show you ours, you would probably flip out. Under each subject, we give a grade, and under each grade, an effort grade. Then there is a list of standards under each subject that we have to give each student a 1, 2, or 3 on. The report cards take forever to do, and some of the stuff on there is ridiculous. I'm too lazy to go get one right now, because they are downstairs, but when I do, I'm going to write down a couple of the things we have to do and see what all the teachers around here think.

Someday you'll be taking pictures of your own 6 year old and Tigger hanging out together and you can compare the two.

My kitchen is not as exciting as Roaring Fork either, but I do have some Wilderness Lodge touches in it.

It is. My family likes the lodge look, so we really liked WL. Some people don't. I have a friend who is all about the Contemporary and doesn't care for WL much at all. Different tastes. I want to try them all!

What ended up happening that evening is that the guys went to Downtown Disney and the girls went to the Polynesian Resort to watch Magic Kingdom fireworks.

And now, to close out my evening, some less than wonderful pictures of Wishes.

We also were able to see the Electric Water Parade.

We joined the throngs of people who were heading away from Magic Kingdom by boat this time instead of by bus.

Brooklynn was totally tapped out.

Totally tapped out.

Each of us had a sleeping kid, and the wait for the boat was not any shorter than the wait for a bus. We were both very happy to finally be sitting down when it was our turn to board.

I've come to the end of the pictures again. Jill is going to load August 2nd before she goes to KY, since they decided to wait until in the morning to go up there. After they are loaded, we'll be ready for our next to last day on the summer trip. That will be one week away from us leaving for the December trip, if you're keeping note of my slowness.
