Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

LOL. My son growled as well and still does at 18 months! I love it.
MeMom my prayers are with you for tomorrow!!!! MeMom/Jill keep us informed.

I really enjoyed all the AK pictures and the DTD shopping pictures. They have so much cute stuff. Usually I don't buy much on our trips, because just paying for the trips is enough. However, my girls love the shopping and can usually be found spending any money they brought with them. haha.

Hope your surgery goes well tomorrow. You'll be in my prayers and I'll ask our ladies in Bible Study tonight to pray for you also. Take care.

Oh gosh, that box cutter analogy is killing me. I feel so bad for all you've had to go through. How many days are you making sub plans for? That's always such a pain! I'd rather go to school sick than make sub plans. I guess it would be kind of hard for you to teach while having surgery so the sub plans are a must!
I'm counting on the bag coming tomorrow, I'm going to be in such a funk taking our little babies out to the wildlife rescue....It will be just the thing to cheer me up!

I made sub plans for the rest of this week. I hope to be back on Monday, because I don't want to use up a bunch of sick days. We get money for those when we retire, so my mind is calculating $$ signs!

I guess the squirrel babies are in their new home now.

I hope you get the bag in the next day or two.

Hi Memom and Brooklynnsmom, I 'm really enjoying your trip report. It looks like the girls had a blast. Can't wait to read more.

We went for our first time this year and CANNOT WAIT to go back next year. We were thinking September but may change that to August. Hey, it's one month sooner.....

Your first trip? Awesome! I'm glad you are planning to go again! August may be a little more crowded than September, but who cares what month you go, as long as you go!!! :)

Glad to hear that ou had a great weekend! I hope the schoolwork goes easily and you have no worries about what's going on there while you are home recovering. How long is the doc saying you'll be off of work?

I finished all of my paperwork and turned it all in, so I am not thinking about school the rest of the week.

They said about a week, but I plan to go back Monday. We'll see.

Glad you had some time with the entire family today. I know it is funny what we pay for meals at Sitdown restaurants in the real world versus Disney--- sticker shock! Good luck with this week ahead!

I love sitting at the table with my whole crew.
It was nice to get a check for the whole group that was equal to about two Disney table service meals, and we all ate plenty and had leftovers. Our Teppan Edo meal was over $200 this summer, and that's a bunch of money for a teacher for one meal!

Now that would be the best picture ever for a TR. Us sitting in Disney jail for freeing the toys. :rotfl2:

Can't you see us trying to find Hidden Mickeys in Disney jail?
I think we better just suck it up and leave the toys alone, even if we do suffocate looking at them!

LOL!!!! :rotfl: Soda, meet computer monitor.

That's why you should only drink water when Dising.
No sticky keyboards. ;)

I"m not sure if I will be able to get back on the Dis today, so I wanted to tell you that I will be praying for you tomorrow. I hope it goes better than planned and a fast recovery.

I think it will be quick and easy. Thanks for the good thoughts!

Sending well wishes your way for today and tomorrow.

I will be saying a prayer for you too, for a sucessful surgery and an easy recovery.

I hope they give you excellent pain meds! ;)

You will be in all our thoughts, so take some comfort in the fact that you have a lot of people supporting you.

I know your family will be there for you too!

Remember this is a great thing! You need a mended knee to be able to walk at WDW!
Take Care, Lana

:goodvibes :flower:

I do appreciate all of the kind thoughts and the prayers.

I am looking very forward to walking through WDW in six weeks!

Good Morning Memom,

Glad you had a good weekend. I am sorry to say I forgot to wish Trent a Happy Bday...so here goes:
Happy Birthday Trent! :bday:

I am all caught up with your TR. As many others have said...I felt so badly for Brooklynn not getting to ride Dinosaur. I sure hope she gets to do it this next trip.

I'll be thinking of you and praying for you tomorrow.
Just think in a few weeks you are going to feel like doing this... party: and :dancer:
You might even want to do this: :yay: or :cheer2:.

TTFN
Darlene

We'll give Dinosaur another try for Brooklynn.

You have me being very active there! I'm not sure about all that, but I will settle for walking normally for now.

Thoughts and prayers with you tomorrow.

Thanks so much.

Just in case I don't get another chance to DIS later - hope all goes smoothly for you tomorrow. Praying for successful surgery and a good recovery.

I appreciate that.

I am finally all caught up!

I am loving your trip report!

I stayed at POFQ over the summer and it is amazing! Make sure to check out Elliot Dison one night he is a jazz musician and I am sure you would enjoy the music!

Both Brooklyn and Bella are adorable!

I love that Brooklyn calls sharks "Bruce" and trust me she won't grow out of it I still refer to every deer I see as "Bambi"

We are so glad you are enjoying the report! It will pick up again hopefully on Thursday.

It would be fun to see the musician playing. I didn't even think of that. I remembered Riverside had Bob, the piano man.

All sharks are Bruce for now, and it's fine with us! :)

Prayers you way guys!

'Pree-shate it, friend!

Many positive thoughts, prayers and sloppy 3 year old kisses from Cayley for tomorrow. Let us know how it goes.

Oh wow! My mum had a knee replacement recently but before she had that it was causing her a lot of pain too, I hope your surgery goes well :goodvibes

Did your mom get 100% freedom from pain? I am not being promised 100%, but almost, so I like to hear what others say about their experiences.

I am off to a conference for the rest of the week so I wanted to send prayers along as well. Will be thinking of you & wishing you a speedy recovery!!pixiedust::goodvibes

Thank you. Enjoy your conference. I hope it is in a fun place!

Lots of prayers for you tomorrow, MeMom!!!

Thanks, Jackie.
I'll need a good Connor and Chelsea story waiting for me when I get back on the DIS!

Will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow and through recovery!!! Take care of yourself MeMom!!!!

You are so kind. I plan to do a little bit of nothing over the next few days.

Yeah... I am finally all caught up with your report...

Happy Belated Birthday to Trent. I love those pictures of the giraffe.. He is so "Hollywood"
Bella and Brooklynn look absolutely adorable as usual...

So I am going to take a moment to hijak this thread by saying.....

I AM ENGAGED.... FINALLY...LOL. Joe popped the question this weekend.

Since I am going to Disney in a few weeks I have decided to meet with a planner to see if a Disney wedding is doable. I am keeping my fingers crossed...
All my dis friends will be welcome

Congratulations! We wish for you a lifetime of happiness!!!

Let us know when it is. Wouldn't it be cool if our big DIS meet ended up being everybody here coming to your wedding?

I hope you are planning on a very large cake!

Will be thinking of you tomorrow. Here's hoping for a quick and relatively pain free recovery.

That sounds good to me - quick and pain-free!

Sending prayers your way for tomorrow and a speedy recovery! I love the DD shopping pictures and it sounds like you had a great time with your family over Labor Day.

Glad you enjoyed the pictures.

Tomorrow is your doctor visit - is that right?

Congratulations!

MeMom: I'll be thinking about you tomorrow and praying for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.

Thanks a lot!

LOL. My son growled as well and still does at 18 months! I love it.
MeMom my prayers are with you for tomorrow!!!! MeMom/Jill keep us informed.

She's so cute when she growls. She's a little bitty thing that sounds like a big bobcat!

We'll keep you posted tomorrow evening.

Take care.

I hear ya there! We don't buy much any more. We like to get practical gifts, too. We love the beach towels from rides and resorts, so when we shower, we wrap up in happy Disney memories. :)

Jill and I need to go shopping with your girls. We love to shop!

Thanks you for the special prayers.

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, MeMom. :goodvibes

Well, thank you very much for your sweet thoughts.

Okay, everything is done at school, and I plan not to think about what is going on in my room with my sub for the next three days.

I don't have to get to the hospital until lunchtime, so not drinking any water after midnight tonight is going to be torture. I may have to cheat. I don't think I can go without water that long!

The procedure will last about an hour, and they said I'll be there about three hours after it is finished, so if nothing goes wrong, I will be back home in my own bed tomorrow evening. I know it will be painful at first, but it has to get worse to get better, so it's all good.

Jill wouldn't do me much good here, since she'd have the girls with her, so she's coming Friday evening. Until then, these clunky boys will do their best to cater to me. My cousin offered food, but the boys can heat up leftovers or go through a drive-thru. School sends flowers usually, but I told them to save their money and contribute it to some good cause at Christmas time, because that would be a lot more logical and meaningful to me. The Sunshine Committee chairman was fine with that, and I like that idea better than expensive flowers coming here just to look pretty for a few days and then dying out. As long as I have ice cream, water, my phone, and my computer, I'll have everything I need.

I do appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers, and hopefully I won't be the one in a million that has complications of any kind. I'll be back here being as goofy as ever as soon as I am coherent, I am sure.

Have a good evening, all!

Adding my good thoughts and prayers for your surgery tomorrow. :goodvibes I'll be anxiously awaiting an update - when you can. Take care of yourself! :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Good luck with your surgery tomorrow MeMom! You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery

Hope all goes well for you. I'm sure it will. I think about what it would be like to need medical treatment if we lived in Africa or some third world country. Or what is was like 100 years ago before modern medicine. What a blessing to have a bum knee in America in 2009!:lmao: I feel for you though on the food and water deal. My surgery was after lunch too and I thought I wouldn't make it without something to drink, but you will. I didn't get to eat any solid food for 3 days afterwards either!!!:scared1: But all of that and the pain is already a distant memory and it was just 2 months ago. So just think about how fast time flies and this will all be over before you know it. And who knows, with the pain meds, you might actually sleep until AFTER the chickens get up!:rotfl:

Hi!

I'm just coming out of lurkdom to wish you good luck tomorrow! I'll be sending happy thoughts of quick recovery your way! :flower3:

I have thoroughly enjoyed your last few trip reports. Brooklyn and Bella are absolutely adorable. Thanks for sharing your wonderful trips and joy with each other. :goodvibes

Rachel

p.s. I love the shopping pictures too, although I am sure it will prove incredibly dangerous for my wallet come January. :rolleyes1

MeMom, I didn't realize you are having surgery exactly two weeks after me! That's gotta be a good sign. I wish you a speedy recovery, good thoughts are being sent your way. :goodvibes  :goodvibes

Oh and the thought of a Disney walking group is fabulous! I really need the exercise motivation and talking Disney would be great. Marc and Disney talk only gets me so far.

Good luck with your surgery tomorrow MeMom!

If you need a physical therapist, I'm just a short plane ride away! :rotfl:

Seriously, though, rest up afterwards and don't push yourself to get back to normal too quickly!

 Thinking of you MeMom!! Lots of prayers and positive thoughts!!

Sending you lots of prayers tonight Memom! Glad to hear the paperwork is done and you can stop thinking school for a few days. It's kind of like a mini summer vacation!

MeMom....will be thinking about you :goodvibes

I guess they couldn't make your surgery 09:09a for you tomorrow

I'm sure the boys will be just fine helping you and if you need anything you know I'm RIGHT down the road!! If needed I would love to help anyway I can!!

Hugs!!
