We will be there for 5 nights. One night at Saratoga Springs and then moving over to Bay Lake Tower for the last 4 nights. I have never been when everything is decorated for Halloween, so I am really looking forward to it. Hopefully this will be a pain free trip.
As for my knee, I have had arthritis for years in both knees. I had a cortisone shot about 6 or 7 years ago that helped a lot until about 7-8 months ago. I tried several different non surgical treatments until I got to where I couldn't stand to walk at all. I was hoping to wait a few more years, but as a nurse if I can't walk I can't work. Right now it is just getting back to the full range of motion and strength, but as far as walking on it, it has not hurt at all like it did before surgery. Sorry if that is more than you wanted to know. I hope you find some relief soon.
Staying at Bay Lake Tower should be awesome! Magic Kingdom just steps away can't be beat. You will love how Main Street looks all dressed in orange and with the cute pumpkin and scarecrow decorations everywhere!
I think I am going to find a general doctor who can give me a cortizone shot for now and see if that helps.
Whew! I was worried about losing my friends, but if everyone else is crazy, then it's all good!
The girls are in bed and the house really needs to be cleaned, but I finally sat down and loaded a handful of pictures so we can get started.
Brooklynn was super excited and felt very grown up with her own bag.
We got through security fairly easy and headed to our gate. John and I left the girls with MeMom and headed to get some breakfast. The girls had on their matching "I'm going to Disney World" shirts.
Next up ...
35 pictures later we actually land in Orlando!
Imagine my surprise to wake up and find a trip report started. It's about time these people got started!
Aren't those some cute little girlies?
Yep, the plane almost left you. You were about to trade a trip to Disney World for a sausage biscuit. Not a good trade!
So this is the Cliff's Notes version of the trip, huh?
I'm curious to know what those 35 pictures were.
Hi MeMom and Jill, have been following your report since the pretrip and decided it time to chime in!! You all have such a lovely family (and Trent sure is a cutie!)Can't wait to go to POP next month. DS is so very excited. This will be our first stay there!
Looking forward to the next installment!
Glad to have you along!
I told Trent I'm going to put a picture of him and of Jarvis on a highway billboard and advertise them. They are both such nice guys, but they are very particular about what they want in a girl. They've both been in good relationships that went bad, so they are cautious. Also, a big thing with both of them is that most girls seem to think a good time these days involves a bunch of drinking, and neither of them are into that at all. They are both looking for 'the marrying kind', and I'm ready for more grandchildren, so I'm ready for both of them to find the right sweet girls and get started on that!
This looks like one excited little girl taking her sister to meet Cinderella!
Talk about a smile, this is just precious!
Glad you have started Jill,
MeMom as been so patient....
MeMom, if you are going after the Mickey Halloween bags I would like you to pick one up for me if it isn't too much trouble!
Yeah, MeMom has been so patient.
I would have been horrible had I not been so busy with school these past two weeks.
I will gladly get you a Halloween bag. I plan to go sometime Sunday afternoon.
Bella is just *so* cute!
And MeMom--haha, yes! If only they did away with that stinkin' Senior Project!
Senior Project around here is just usually working somewhere. What will you be doing? What do you plan to do after high school? Have you thought about doing the Disney College Program?
Hey Memom and Jill.

It was great meeting y'all and the girls. Ryan and I enjoyed talking to you very much. It was cool seeing a "real live" Memom and not a "hidden Memom.
Brooklyn looks so cute and grown up with her own bag. I remember when I first started reading your TR's she was just a baby.
We enjoyed meeting and talking to you guys, too. There wasn't much for me to hde behind right there at MK entrance!

You guys are very nice and down-to-earth. Your Ryan is a keeper.

We enjoyed the visit.
The picture with Trent, Jarvis and the girls is precious. They will make wonderful fathers some day.
Brooklynn looks all grown up with her own bag, and she has a wonderful smile, but my favorite picture is the one of both girls in their Disney shirts. You did a great job on the shirts.
They are so good with these girls. Both have been around children a lot, so they're naturals. They'll make great dads, if we can get them some good girls to get that going!
Brooklynn was very proud of her rolling bag. I wish we had video instead of just pictures. We do have video of some things later in the trip, and it will be fun to see that.
Love the pictures of the girls at the airport!!!! They look so cute in their matching shirts and looked like they had a lot of fun on the airplane!! Cant' wait to hear about your first day!!
They did well on the plane. Brooklynn is used to planes now, and Bella just sleeps as soon as she eats.
Cute pics of the girls on their way to DISNEY! We are going to Pigeon Forge...and I think maybe Nashville and Memphis for a day or two, but I'm not sure when. (Hi Megablock's Mom!)
You are going to cross the whole state if you do all those things! Pigeon Forge is in East TN, and it's a great place to shop. Are you going to Dollywood? Nashville has all the country music stuff and is in Mid-TN, and Memphis is down in the west corner right at Arkansas. You could go see Graceland, and they are supposed to have just the most awesome BBQ there. I doubt you'll see this before you leave, but we hope you have an awesome trip! If you go to Opry Mills mall in Nashville, give me a call and I'll come out there and meet you.
