Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

Have not posted in a while. Love the updates. The girls looked so cute dressed up for Halloween. Looking forward to hearing about 4 parks in 1 day!! Love the opening of Epcot pics!! We also do the mad dash to Soarin every year. Love the pics of Bella & Mickey!! So Cute!! Love the birthday pin MeMom:) Bella looks so cute standing up next to the coffee table. She looks so proud of herself:cutie:

I can't believe that tiny Bella is already pulling up on everything! It must be so funny to see her doing that in person!

The Four Parks One Day Extravaganza is off to a good start. I can't wait to hear the rest.

I secretly feel like Drew most mornings for rope drop, but I do my best to hide it! :rotfl:

I've never made it to a rope drop - probably never will if I'm with DD24. I might just have to go by myself one morning. I'd love to get some early morning pictures! You have inspired me Memom!

Awww Bella! Kazin's pulling himself up too. He kept knocking his bottle off the coffee table the other day

Drew is up and at 'em!

IMG_0316.jpg

That's what I look like in the morning :rotfl: My mom isn't a morning person either but I'm terrible! We've never made rope drop. I'm determined to make it next time!

There's no better birthday than to have your family and ....

nearby.

I won't be there on my actual birthday if we go in April but just a few days before. Still fun! :) And extra birthday fun because my mom's birthday is the day before mine! Double birthday trip! :thumbsup2

She looks so funny pulled up as tiny as she is. She just turned 7 months on Thursday but she is still wearing 0-3 months clothes.

Sounds like my Ben. He was the same way when he was learning to stand and walk. He's 5.5yo and still only 32 pounds fully clothed! He's just tall enough to make it onto Soarin' in January!

What a great start to your report MeMom! I love Drew's early morning excitement, he's hilarious! That dash to Soarin' is what I have planned for next month and I'm kind of nervous about it. I'll have three kids and we'll be flying by the seat of our pants. What a great start to your birthday!! :) I can't wait to read more.

So, Drew isn't a fan of early mornings? I can't think of a better way to start a birthday than being greeted by Mickey Mouse at Epcot's rope drop!!! :goodvibes

Nope, he's more of a late night person. It worked out fine for us sharing a room, because we never needed the shower or bathroom at the same time.

Not a bad way to start a new year of life. Not bad at all. ;)

I am so excited about the Birthday Extravaganza!! WOO HOO!

I love the blurry shot during the Soarin' mad dash! :rotfl2:

Yeah, there was no stopping for a clear picture.

I love the opening Epcot pictures!!!

:lmao: Drew's up and at em picture is hilarious!!!!!

I get cracked up everytime I see Bella sleeping!!! Is she really good about sleeping through anything noisy?

She sleeps whenever she decides to. Like Jill said, she stayed awake more during the December trip. I don't know if she'll be too big for the carrier in December. She does better in that than in the stroller.

That is a serious camera Drew has there! I was :rotfl: at the sleeping Bella. Even the big cheese himself couldn't wake her with his kiss! Brooklynn looks so happy to see Pluto. And you're probably right...those greeters at Soarin' probably do make fun of all the crazy people rushing to ride. Can't wait to hear more about your day! How cool you got a birthday button!

Drew loves photography. He is going to school four nights a week for four hours a night to learn more. He would love to have a career in that. I hope it works out for him.

Yeah, I'm sure those CM's have plenty to make fun of as we rush by. I'd love to see a bird's-eye video of any Disney park when it opens just to watch the action.

Brooklynn was definitely awake and ready to go for her day. Much better than Drew and Bella. :)

That is a huge camera! I'll just stick with my little point and shoot!

Did you take advantage of the birthday special and get a gift card or free admission?

I have an annual pass, so I got the gift card. Truth is, I didn't remember it until later in the day, though.

What a wonderful birthday treat...to be with your family in your favorite place!

Drew's picture cracks me up, that's how I feel most mornings before I have my Diet Dr. Pepper to wake me up! Ben is in awe of Drew's camera, he would like to get one similar.

It was a treat. I hope to spend more birthdays there in the future. It works out pretty well, since I have the summer birthday.

I'm sure Drew would be glad to talk cameras with Ben any time.

MeMom, I couldn't agree more with your comment about spending your birthday at Disney...
Wow, I think I'm doing the same thing next year!
Except it will be just 2 old coots, leaving kids at home.....

Bella was sure a sleeping beauty, no waking that princess up though!:rotfl2:
I can't wait to see the progression of parks.
I think Epcot was the perfect place to start it off!
:goodvibes

That will be fun. You guys can do whatever you want to whenever you want to.

Epcot was perfect for our start. Soarin' is my favorite ride, and then we were eating right out the back gate...

you know, over there at your place! :thumbsup2

I can't believe what Bella can sleep through!

She's a funny one...
and she doesn't even mean to be!

i love the opening pics. I wasn't going to plan an epcot opening but who knows...but i think i want to keep it simple with little kids and at least try for magic kingdom opening and maybe animal kingdom...but we will see how things go!

I can't wait!! Less than 3 months!! and then in a little over 3 months i will be fighting my husband trying to avoid getting back on the plane to go home! ;)

The good thing about opening Epcot with little ones is that you can go straight to Character Spot and get lots of character pictures wiped out in a short time.

Don't think about the leaving yet. Try to block that part out. :)

Nothing better than a rope drop to start your Saturday! Thanks MeMom. I crack up everytime I see Bella's pose! I know though it won't be long until she is just like Brooklynn right in the middle of the action!

I do, too.
She will be right in the middle of it all with Brooklynn very soon, I am sure. I bet on this trip she will be awake even more and even more cognizant of the characters.

I love Bella's sleeping picture. :rotfl: I am super excited for the 4 Parks, 1 Day extravaganza. Hope you have a good weekend, MeMom!

It has been pretty here in Middle Tennessee. It has been a good weekend - I went to the mall yesterday, talked to my girls on the phone a couple of time, the sermon was especially good this morning, I haven't done any school work, my chores are caught up, and my friend, Kay came by to visit for a few minutes before she went to eat with her in-laws.

She just goes to sleep when she is tired no matter what is going on. Half the time she would be wide awake and the next time I looked down she was asleep! She stayed awake much more in October and I'm sure she will be even more awake in December!

That's the truth. Maybe she has narcolepsy!

Hi Erica :wave2:....I'm Erica :rotfl: from the Middle part of TN :upsidedow Glad you came out of lurkdom!

Jill - All of your Halloween pics are GREAT! Love the fall festival and of course Ariel and Flounder. You did such a great job on that costume for Bella!!

Memom - Can't wait for the rest of the fun packed day!! 20 days until we leave!!!! :yay:

Have a good weekend all :upsidedow

It's about time to pull out the suitcases for you!
I know you are so excited to soon be seeing your castle again! :yay:

Great update Memom!!! I really am excited to hear all about your 4parks 1 day extravaganza!!!! Loved the pictures of POP in the early morning!!! That resort is so much fun...I'm sure you can't wait to get back in December!!!!

I will be taking so many pictures of Pop at Christmas. There's the big tree in the lobby and then all those little silver ones in the food court windows and the cool displays in the gift shop. :santa:

I agree. I missed a lot of what was NOT in the parks this go around. Just not enough time :rotfl:. I am thinking I can bribe my not -so-Disney- Lovin DH into a trip if I can breathe the words - no parks- or at least limited parks and lots of resort time. A girl can try right?

I have been playing my 4 parks 1 world CD in the car on the way to work. Soarin is the track of choice going in. If a start to smell the trees and oranges in the car, I know the Disney obsession has gone too far:rotfl2:
For the Ride home it is my Illuminations CD. I can get track 1 done almost to the second on the ride home. Always a great way to end my day.

I basically stayed there the last time based on your reviews and pictures. I found it to be a great resort! Almost better that the Coronado as far as Disneyness and some of the service.

Drew is up and at 'em!

Yes he does look like my crew at disney - I wear them out.
I am always like this:yay:

Loved the Sorin fastpass dash picture- I have one just like it :lmao:

You just had two days, right? I know you were getting all you could out of it. I have looked at flight prices and dates ten times for March trying to convince myself that I could go down for two days. That would be enough to quench my Disney thirst during spring break. Then I add a day on and then another, and before I know it, it's a full blown trip and I am stopping it altogether! I can't afford it. Keep telling me that, please.

Isn't the Four Parks, One World CD great? It's a must have for every Diser, i think.

There is no telling how late Drew stayed out, thus how little sleep he probably had. :)

I think I just stay on overdrive when I am there.

I loved this morning's installment. I grinned through the entire post! Such a great birthday start!

Glad to hear they spilled the beans on having a birthday girl in the crowd. ;)

I am so glad you enjoyed the pictures. I enjoyed being back in those moments.

I wasn't thrilled about the attention, but of course I liked the button!

Aw, I was smiling through this whole update!

I'd like to know what Brookie was saying to him too!

I was getting excited seeing all the CM's coming to you too!

Love the ones of Mickey & Minnie with Bella and Brookie. I can't believe how much Bella sleeps through!

Okay, I have to admit..it was weird seeing your name on your birthday button and not "MeMom".

Brooklynn carries on a conversation better than Drew does.

You know when those Soarin' CM's come out that it is almost time to go!

I should have told them to put MeMom on it. Maybe next time I am there on my birthday, I will do that. That will probably be 2011. Summer 2010 vacation will be the first part of July.

What a great way to spend a birthday!!! I LOVE it!

I love the pics!! So many cute ones!! The up and at em one of drew is too funny!! DH trys that but with 3 kids it doesn't work out well for him.

We've never done rope drop at Epcot! It looks like fun!!

Yes, it was very nice. Jill and I were pumped up about hitting all four parks.

Like I said earlier, getting character pictures quickly is nice, and riding Soarin' and then quickly getting Fastpasses to ride again is nicer. :thumbsup2

I have some excitting news!

Since our Disney cruise had to be postponed (I had to replace our furnace while you were gone to WDW )$$$$ .

I started looking at March break instead and decided to just do it! Life is short after all! And it's F&G Festival too!

I booked POP for 7 nights!

I will surprize Lexi with it at Christmas...if I can keep it a secret that long...

When I made the reservation the lady asked if I wanted to make dining reservations....I paused.....I was not prepared....I panicked a bit...
I am used to planning trips far in advance and usually have to wait til my ADR window opens up. I had to tell her no.
I got off the phone and directly went online and saw the hours are up, and then figured out a rough plan.
I was originally going to just do the Quick service dining plan, but decided to upgrade.

I thought all the good places would be taken.....
I was so excitted to get everything I wanted!

Here's what I got:

1900 Park Fare
Cape May Cafe
Le Cellier
Tusker House 'Donald's Breakfast'
Chef Mickey's
Crystal Palace
Teppan Edo
Sci Fi
Ohana

So you HAVE to convince Brooklynn'sMommy to go now!

I just noticed Tinkgirl is going the same week so it could be a mini DIS meet.

I can't even tell you how happy I am for you! :dance3:
What a GREAT Christmas present!

As much as I would LOVE to, I have to keep telling myself 'I can't, I can't, I can't.'

Unless Jill wants to. ;)

bella looks like she's taking after uncle drew!

that's what ray looks like on our one rope drop morning every trip.

i'm impressed!

:thumbsup2 i agree! too bad it will never happen for me. i have a july birthday, too (the 18th) and i know that i couldn't deal with the heat that time of year down there. you are a better woman than me!

she cracks me up! :rotfl2: i had to share those with ray. too cute.

sweet!

I bet Ray thinks Bella is just a pretend baby, doesn't he? You always show him sleeping pictures of her. :rotfl:

The heat doesn't really bother me. We are in and out of cool places. I'm really cold-natured, so I do worse when it is cold than in the heat.

Maybe someday you'll do a very short birthday trip, just to say you've done Disney on your actual day.

Adorable pictures from Rope Drop ! I love how Bella can always sleep through all the noise , so sweet . Glad to see you got a Birthday Button , it wouldn't be a Birthday at WDW without one ! Can't wait to read more about your Birthday day and see how the 4 parks in one day worked out

Jill, adorable pictures of Bella pulling herself up , such a beautiful smile !

The four parks day worked out very nicely except for one short meltdown...
not by Brooklynn. Other than that one little incident, it went very well.

I don't remember how, but I think I ended up with two birthday buttons from the trip. Maybe they gave me one at check-in. I'm not sure.

Aww, Bella is so adorable! She is a little peanut.

A sweet, sweet little peanut. :lovestruc

Oh my gosh Jill! Bella is just adorable, and she looks so happy to be pulling herself up! I'm sure she does a wonderful job of cleaning off every surface she comes in contact with!

She'll be busting that chin several times, I am sure, as she tumbles down.

GO, BELLA, GO!!! :thumbsup2

such cute pictures. i love hearing things about how she's growing. she's a few days older than margot so it's neat to see how they are learning the same things around the same times. brett said he had her in the floor the other day on a blanket and he was laying on the couch, watching TV. then all of the sudden, he sees this little face pop up next to him - she had pulled herself up on the couch! he couldn't believe it. oh, he also said she now has 4 teeth: the 2 center ones on the bottom and then her 2 fangs!!!! he said it's hysterical when she smiles. i haven't gotten a picture yet but when i do, i'll share it.

We'll have to get together when we have both girls here in town and get a picture. Maybe we can do that when you are in at Christmas - maybe meet at Opry Mills for a good Christmas background picture.

What a cute pic!

She has the biggest smile...kinda like "look at what I can do!" :goodvibes

You should be one proud Momma!

She does appear to be saying, "Ha, look at me now!" doesn't she?

Love the pictures of Bella! She is so cute! It is funny when they look too small to be doing what they are doing. Owen is a peanut too, but he can walk, run and climb with the best of them.

I bet he is something to keep up with , isn't he? Little boys seem to be go, go, go all the time. I bet Hannah is a big help with him. :)

Exactly what I was thinking too! :goodvibes

I cannot go in March.
I cannot go in March.
I cannot go in March.

How much could two days possibly be?

Jill- Bella looks so cute! She's already such a good smiler for the camera! :cutie:

I think she has learned the cheesing from her big sister. :)

Your birthday is July 30? No way! So is mine! (Of course, I'm a bit younger than you ;) ):goodvibes

Quite a bit younger, I imagine, but I am just as much of a kid as you I bet! :goodvibes

Have not posted in a while. Love the updates. The girls looked so cute dressed up for Halloween. Looking forward to hearing about 4 parks in 1 day!! Love the opening of Epcot pics!! More 4 Parks, 1 Day coming up soon. :thumbsup2

:rotfl:

Doesn't she look like a little show-off? :cutie:

I think girls do a lot better at hiding their misery than guys do.

I've never made it to a rope drop - probably never will if I'm with DD24. I might just have to go by myself one morning. I'd love to get some early morning pictures! You have inspired me Memom!

You get some nice empty park/resort pictures when you get going early. You don't have a hundred million people in your way.

Sounds like my Ben. He was the same way when he was learning to stand and walk. He's 5.5yo and still only 32 pounds fully clothed! He's just tall enough to make it onto Soarin' in January!

I know Bella will be chomping at the bit to get on the big rides long before she'll be big enough to.

Just have everyone hold on to each others' shirts and forge ahead. We never, ever run, of course, but you have to have a quick, steady pace or you will get run over. We get right on, then get Fastpasses as soon as we get off. By the time we get off, the regular line is always long already.

Just stopping by for a short minute. Things have been crazy in real life. I can't believe that Bella is already 7 months old. Time goes by so fast. She is precious. I can't wait to see how Brooklynn reacts when Bella starts getting into her stuff. Looking forward to seeing all the pictures from the 4 park/1 day birthday.

So I guess Drew is not really much of a morning person? He'll get up and do it for a great mom like you though! That's one serious camera right there too!

I can't think of any better way to start off a birthday :goodvibes

Sorry, I got your post tied in with Poolrat's, so I had to fix it up.

Drew prefers to stay up late and sleep late, as I guess most younger people do. I stayed up late when I was young, even when I had to get up and go to school or work the next day.

I don't think he was so much thinking about a great mom as he was thinking about a breakfast buffet.

I bet he is something to keep up with , isn't he? Little boys seem to be go, go, go all the time.

That's for sure! I'm amazed how much he goes! Hannah never did this! He learned to climb up the steps and go down the big slide, much to my dismay!
I'm not sure I'm ready for that!

I bet Hannah is a big help with him. :)

Well, that depends on the day! :rotfl:

We've really been stressing to Brooklynn about how important it is for her to put her stuff up now that Bella is mobile. I'm sure Bella will tear up something of Brooklynn's before too long, and she won't like it one bit! In those pictures, I noticed several things Brooklynn might want to find a place for in her own room before Bella's little paws find them. :)

Technically I was on property for 10 days.
Out of those, 9 days were potential park days ( I left 9:45 Sunday am)
Now that pesky conference I was there for :rotfl2::rotfl2:
Took up 4 hours Monday ( My 4 parks day)
Almost all of Tuesday ( lack of other volunteers so they needed me)
6 hours on Wednesday
Thursday was a no park day for me ( the only day ) Well if you can count our reunion party at typhoon lagoon I guess I made it to a park :rotfl:

I had Friday 10-16, Sat and Sun as full park days. Then Mon ( 4 parks ) all day -4 hours. Tuesday at night only, Wed - EMH at EPCOT, Fri after 3pm ( I think I hit 3 parks that night, and Sat Blizzard Beach ( conference related ) and then back to parks.

I made the most of my time.:thumbsup2 I really tried to relax a little and I think I did but I did it while moving from park to park.:rotfl2: I am not sure most people will think my method of relaxing is relaxing:confused3

All I can say is that when I finally made it back to the room, I slept like Bella.:lmao:

I have finally convinced some friends to go so when we can finally get our calendars together we can plan another trip. I have not broken that bit of news to the DH yet. I mentioned wanting to back for F & W with him next year and got a mumble about something I am sure was NOT " great I would love to go" I have to keep trying.

You can room with us, as long as you don't mind sharing space with some Canadians. We are really very nice.....:lmao:

I won't bug you to go, but I'd be thrilled if your "lovely, beautiful daughter" changes her mind! :goodvibes

**************************************************

I went to the USA this afternoon and boy did I come back with alot of Disney Christmas stuff.

Lexi said "I wonder if all your Disney friends (that's what she calls you) has bought all the same stuff in thier towns.

I couldn't resist buying it all up. :santa:

Bella is getting soo big!!

Just wanted to pop on real quick to let you know that finally at 13 1/2 months...Caleb is finally starting to walk! :lmao:

not much else going on except that Caleb is getting more into Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! I dvr the shows and he lays with me on the couch and watches one with his sippy before bedtime! I also put it on in the car (we have the disney channel in the van) and when we are on our way to my SIL's in the am...Handy Manny is on at that time and he goes "uh uh" and gets real excited that Handy Manny is on. He gets into the music and swings his little arm! Too cute!!

Yay, the 4 park day has begun!! SO fun to be there on your special day with the family!! Can't wait to see the rest.
Cute little Bella, my Avery was like that. I remember she cruisung all around the coffee table at Thanksgiving-7mo and then walking at 9mo. She was a bit chunkier than Bella but at 5.5 she is 38lb and 43 inches. Tall and thin. Did not get it from me LOL

We'll have to get together when we have both girls here in town and get a picture. Maybe we can do that when you are in at Christmas - maybe meet at Opry Mills for a good Christmas background picture.

unfortunately, how much i will get to see margot at christmas this year will depend on if brett and jordan are getting along at that time. if they are getting along, he might be able to take the baby and meet me at the mall for something like that. and he'd love to - he loves showing her off! but if they're not getting along, i don't know that it can be worked out. according to his visitation schedule, he gets her all day on christmas eve on odd years and all day on christmas day on even years. well, since i was 4 years old and my parents split up, i have ALWAYS been with mom on christmas eve and dad on christmas day. and so everyone else in my family has grown accustomed to that schedule too (stepbrothers, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc.) and i can't ask them all to alter it. so in other words, if they are not getting along and he has to abide by the schedule, i will have to break away from my mom's family at some point on christmas eve and drive up to my stepmom's house in goodlettsville to even get to see her at all! we will talk closer to time to see how things are going then. ;) i'm so glad my life isn't so chaotic.

Epcot looks fun! This trip will be my first Epcot RD.
Little Bella is getting so big! She's adorable.
I wanted to run by you my Epcot RD plan. You've done enough RDs so maybe you can help me.
We're coming from the dolphin via the boat, so where would we stand and do we get to see the characters? My plan is to head to character connection first thing. Then Soarn' get FPs for it. TT single rider. SSE. Find some characters. Nemo. Turtle talk. Lunch at SS. LWTL and use soarn' FPs get more. 3-D movie in the land, and then Figment. Head to either Innovations or WS. At around 6 head to DHS for EMH 8-11 and Obsourne lights. Not sure about dinner. Any suggestions?
So what do you think of day 2? 13 days now I'm so excited!
