Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

Epcot looks fun! This trip will be my first Epcot RD.
Little Bella is getting so big! She's adorable.
I wanted to run by you my Epcot RD plan. You've done enough RDs so maybe you can help me.
We're coming from the dolphin via the boat, so where would we stand and do we get to see the characters? My plan is to head to character connection first thing. Then Soarn' get FPs for it. TT single rider. SSE. Find some characters. Nemo. Turtle talk. Lunch at SS. LWTL and use soarn' FPs get more. 3-D movie in the land, and then Figment. Head to either Innovations or WS. At around 6 head to DHS for EMH 8-11 and Obsourne lights. Not sure about dinner. Any suggestions?
So what do you think of day 2? 13 days now I'm so excited!

I would get Soarin fastpasses first if it were me, or is there anyone in your party that could take all the tickets and go get fastpasses while the rest of the group goes to character connection?

That's for sure! I'm amazed how much he goes! Hannah never did this! He learned to climb up the steps and go down the big slide, much to my dismay!
I'm not sure I'm ready for that!

Well, that depends on the day!

Boys are a whole different ride than girls. I've made so many doctor and hospital visits with the boys, but Jill was thankfully not so 'exciting' in that department.

Technically I was on property for 10 days.
Out of those, 9 days were potential park days ( I left 9:45 Sunday am)
Now that pesky conference I was there for
Took up 4 hours Monday ( My 4 parks day)
Almost all of Tuesday ( lack of other volunteers so they needed me)
6 hours on Wednesday
Thursday was a no park day for me ( the only day ) Well if you can count our reunion party at typhoon lagoon I guess I made it to a park

I had Friday 10-16, Sat and Sun as full park days. Then Mon ( 4 parks ) all day -4 hours. Tuesday at night only, Wed - EMH at EPCOT, Fri after 3pm ( I think I hit 3 parks that night, and Sat Blizzard Beach ( conference related ) and then back to parks.

I made the most of my time.:thumbsup2 I really tried to relax a little and I think I did but I did it while moving from park to park.:rotfl2: I am not sure most people will think my method of relaxing is relaxing

All I can say is that when I finally made it back to the room, I slept like Bella.:lmao:

I have finally convinced some friends to go so when we can finally get our calendars together we can plan another trip. I have not broken that bit of news to the DH yet. I mentioned wanting to back for F & W with him next year and got a mumble about something I am sure was NOT " great I would love to go" I have to keep trying.

I knew you were there for a conference, and I thought you were just adding a couple of days on for WDW. You had a lot more time than I realized.

I hope you can work it out to go with your friends. Hopefully, your husband will get excited as you begin to plan.

You can room with us, as long as you don't mind sharing space with some Canadians. We are really very nice.....

I won't bug you to go, but I'd be thrilled if your "lovely, beautiful daughter" changes her mind! :goodvibes

**************************************************

I went to the USA this afternoon and boy did I come back with alot of Disney Christmas stuff.

Lexi said "I wonder if all your Disney friends (that's what she calls you) has bought all the same stuff in thier towns.

I couldn't resist buying it all up. :santa:

We'll have to compare pictures and see what things we have that are the same.

At least your daughter calls us Disney friends.
reelmom's son calls us her imaginary friends! :rotfl:

I'm just going to have to be tough through spring break. I'll be dying to go, but it's just too much. I wish it was half as far away and half as expensive.

Bella is getting soo big!!

Just wanted to pop on real quick to let you know that finally at 13 1/2 months...Caleb is finally starting to walk! :lmao:

not much else going on except that Caleb is getting more into Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! I dvr the shows and he lays with me on the couch and watches one with his sippy before bedtime! I also put it on in the car (we have the disney channel in the van) and when we are on our way to my SIL's in the am...Handy Manny is on at that time and he goes "uh uh" and gets real excited that Handy Manny is on. He gets into the music and swings his little arm! Too cute!!

Drew walked at fourteen months to the day. He had a lot of inner ear troubles, so I think he had a hard time with balance.

I was looking at a Handy Manny CD tonight. I'll probably think of him now whenever I see Handy Manny like I think of Brook's Henry when I see Cars.

Yay, the 4 park day has begun!! SO fun to be there on your special day with the family!! Can't wait to see the rest.
Cute little Bella, my Avery was like that. I remember she cruisung all around the coffee table at Thanksgiving-7mo and then walking at 9mo. She was a bit chunkier than Bella but at 5.5 she is 38lb and 43 inches. Tall and thin. Did not get it from me LOL

Bella better have a good metabolism, because she is quite the eater!

unfortunately, how much i will get to see margot at christmas this year will depend on if brett and jordan are getting along at that time. if they are getting along, he might be able to take the baby and meet me at the mall for something like that. and he'd love to - he loves showing her off! but if they're not getting along, i don't know that it can be worked out. according to his visitation schedule, he gets her all day on christmas eve on odd years and all day on christmas day on even years. well, since i was 4 years old and my parents split up, i have ALWAYS been with mom on christmas eve and dad on christmas day. and so everyone else in my family has grown accustomed to that schedule too (stepbrothers, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc.) and i can't ask them all to alter it. so in other words, if they are not getting along and he has to abide by the schedule, i will have to break away from my mom's family at some point on christmas eve and drive up to my stepmom's house in goodlettsville to even get to see her at all! we will talk closer to time to see how things are going then. i'm so glad my life isn't so chaotic.

Well, if it works out, that'll be great, but it sounds like you are going to be very booked and busy. I'm glad you have a schedule that works for you to be able to see everyone.

We usually go from Soarin' over to Nemo, since they're right there together. We've never had a wait to get on SSE, so we do that whenever.

I agree with nowellsl on sending someone to get Soarin' Fastpasses while you are in Character Connection. That's what we've done a few times, and it works nicely.

Eating at Sunshine Seasons is an excellent choice.

I'm looking forward to seeing Osborne Lights again. Dinner suggestions at Hollywood Studios? Are you talking table service or counter service?

Ooooh yes you can! HaHa.

Of course! And who better to learn it from.

Brooklynn has had like eleven million pictures made, hasn't she?

I would get Soarin fastpasses first if it were me, or is there anyone in your party that could take all the tickets and go get fastpasses while the rest of the group goes to character connection?

I agree. Hopefully, they can work that out so that they can do Soarin' twice and get out by the time they want to in the evening.

I was a small baby to still am ha ha ha am 24 and ppl think am 16

I hope I get to meet ur fam in person memom

I'm sure eventually our trips will overlap.

Great big leaves.

IMG_0365.jpg

Now we're heading toward the back gate to get to our Cape May ADR.

IMG_0369.jpg

Empty street.

IMG_0370.jpg

Of course, since we had a group, we had to stop at one of these.

IMG_0373.jpg

Next time, a yummy meal here.

IMG_0374.jpg

i love bella's "what are these crazy people doing" facial expression in the phone booth picture! too cute!! And yes he is starting to love his manny...which will thrill my nephew who went as Handy Manny this halloween! He loves him and he is actually saying some words in spanish (my nephew not caleb! LOL!)

can't wait! this is one i wanna try sometime down the road (among about 20 others!)

I want to hear about Cape May Cafe. My DH & I will be staying at BC for our anniv. trip & we are going to Cape May for breakfast & another night for dinner so was it really good?

I may use your idea of doing Character Conection while my DMom goes and gets the fastpasses for Soarin. Great tip! :thumbsup2

I love the phone booth pic! It's too bad you couldn't have sqeezed yourself into there too!

Cape May time! I can hardly wait for your input and picks.

Soarin' .... that is a way I need to start my birthday someday!

just coming by to let you guys know about my new pre-TR. i know it's over a year away but i don't think i can deal with not having a TR going. :rotfl2: hope you both can make it over there.

and any of memom/brooklynnsmommy's readers are welcome to join in!

So you can walk through the World Showcase befoe it opens at 11:00?

i'm not memom but i saw your post at the top of the page and figured i'd save her some time. yes, you can. you just can't go in any of the shops or restaurants until they open at 11:00. :thumbsup2

If you don't like the dolls, you better stay away from Heather's house! Did you see her Chucky dolls? :scared1:

Hope your in-laws can join us on NYE! :dance3: You guys are going to make fun of our southern accents, I already know! You'll leave thinking you have met real Clampett relatives!

Eeeek! She has real Chucky dolls?! lkajsdlkjfalkjd! :scared1::eek::scared1: The thought alone sends a shiver down my spine.

:rotfl: about the accents. You'll be making fun of ours! I used to have a good friend from Oklahoma and sometimes he would just **** his head slightly to the side and get a slight grin on his face. I would finally stop talking and ask "What?!" He would always tell me he just liked to listen to me talk, it sounded like I was singing! :lmao: Much like the Sweedish Chef. "A dur dur dur dur! Makin' chicken, bork, bork, bork!" So we can fully just laugh at each other, and with each other. :goodvibes

I hate that aisle!!!!

I think it was $5. It wasn't anymore than that.

It's getting closer!!!!! I told MeMom that I was going to make a giant lime green Mickey head and put it on a stake so that we could stick it in the sand and any Disers on the beach could see it. That way we didn't have to maintain a thread and keep up with who all was coming.

I am glad I am not alone in the creepy doll aisle!!! :rotfl2:

That is a great deal on the horseback riding! I will have to keep that in mind for when Henry is a bit older.

Love the giant LGMH idea. Perfect! :thumbsup2 I haven't a clue what time we will get there, perhaps around 9:00 or so? I haven't gotten that detailed with my planning yet....

Of course, since we had a group, we had to stop at one of these.

IMG_0373.jpg

Love it!!! Great idea! I might have to copy that idea with my in-laws. :goodvibes Bella and Brooklynn just crack me up- Brooklynn looks like "GET ME OUTTA HERE!" and Bella is saying "Crazy people!" Drew just stands there all cool like.

I'm excited that your Extravaganza has started!!

Early morning ride on Soarin! Love it! The picture of your gang in the phone booth is too funny! :lmao: Can't wait to see the pictures from Cape May!

I've never made it to a rope drop - probably never will if I'm with DD24. I might just have to go by myself one morning. I'd love to get some early morning pictures! You have inspired me Memom!
not true mike and I made it to rope drop on my 24 b-day so anything is posible

Oooh pics from Soarin'! I wish that it went over WDW instead of Disneyland though!

Love that pic of everyone cramming into the phone booth! You guys are such a fun bunch.

Bella probably thinks 'What are these crazy people doing?' a lot with us. Poor girl. She doesn't know what is in store for her.

Brooklynn knows some Spanish. She has a class at school. She is pretty cute singing Happy Birthday in Spanish. :lovestruc

That is such a cute picture in the phone booth, I just love it!

I could not bear for them to all cram in, so spilling out the front was good enough for me. ;)

Ahhhhhh, that does my heart good!:goodvibes

Loved your Soarin' pictures. Brooklynn looked quite intense, was this her first ride ever?

You will see more of your place when I get home tonight. The Cape May installment was too big for me to have time for this morning.

This was Brooklynn's first trip to ride Soarin', but she had already ridden it earlier in the trip as her first time. Remember the 'thumbs up' picture earlier in the report?

we will see. hopefully we can meet up because i'd love to get bella and margot together. :goodvibes

great picture! :grouphug:

can't wait! this is one i wanna try sometime down the road (among about 20 others!)

We'll get them together eventually. :)

I really, really want to stay at Beach Club someday. Jill wants Boardwalk first, though, and some of the others want AKL, but we'll get to Beach Club in time.

I want to hear about Cape May Cafe. My DH & I will be staying at BC for our anniv. trip & we are going to Cape May for breakfast & another night for dinner so was it really good?

I have several pictures coming up for you tonight.
Breakfast was eggscellent.
You knew I had to do that, right? ;)

We haven't done dinner, but we will get to that.

I may use your idea of doing Character Conection while my DMom goes and gets the fastpasses for Soarin. Great tip! :thumbsup2

I love the phone booth pic! It's too bad you couldn't have sqeezed yourself into there too!

You know good and well I would not squeeze myself into that! I was making it as quick as possible so that I could get Trent out of there before I suffocated. :rotfl:

Cape May time! I can hardly wait for your input and picks.

Soarin' .... that is a way I need to start my birthday someday!

My input is that it was two thumbs up. Three or four even, if I had that many hands. We really liked it.

I couldn't care less about my birthdays, of course, but if you have to have them, being in Disney World is the absolute best way to spend them. :wizard:

Thanks for the suggestions! I could go with just the girls to CC and send DH to go but I kind of wanted to go all together and get some family shots with the fab.
Last trip we had 2 meals there in one day. I was thinking counter service for DHS. This is mainly a just-get-in-as-many-attractions-and see the x-mas decorations trip before our passes expire. So, it really isn't an eating trip. I was thinking ABC because we will be having lunch at Toy Story the next day. I can't wait to see the Osborne lights either.
What a great way to start out a birthday at your favorite place with people you love. Can't wait to see Cape pictures. Hopefully Bella knew better then to sleep the whole time during that.:rotfl2:
