You need to win 10 games for a key.

I believe so. And yes it is one time use.

My guess is that you probably get a pirate key for every 10th victory on a level (just like fireworks magic). This can be confirmed as more players reach the ten point (such as 10, 20, 120, 50, etc.).

Okay, stupid question but I'm wondering do you get the key for cumulative victories starting today or do the ones before today count?

I got mine first game i played today.

It said it was for 120 wins in ship battle 1 so it's back counting your wins.

Well it won't be me for sure. I was pretty good at the old pirates, but I really suck at the new one. I have play 12 times, and won 1. The screen is so jumpy and lagging that by the time I get to the ship to shoot it, the screen jumps and I'm dead before I get a chance.
