I'll admit it, I've not yet seen Brokeback mountain, though I want to and am looking forward it.
The only movie I walked out the theatre was waaaaaaay back when and some forgettable piece of.....fluff called Quick Silver starring Kevin Bacon. (I do not recommend this film. Tried it again later...well, wait. It might work wonders for insomniac film watchers.)
The idea that people who are AGAINST this movie, who go in WANTING to make a statement and complain....are still buying tickets for it, and making sure more movies like this are made...
Is completely delicious to me.

Great post; couldn't have said it better. I've walked out of several movies -- some because they were so bad, a few because they were offensive. Sometimes you go to a movie expecting one thing and are surprised at how it turns out (and not surprised in a good way).
at that particular mall so I guess that made up for the long travel.
It was kind of funny though.
). I've never walked out of a movie, on the rare occasion that I've gone, just like I never want to leave a losing ballgame, because something good MIGHT happen.
