Broadband!

Got installed today! What a difference it makes, especially with a mac!!!
I downloaded a whole album in a fraction of the time it took for 1 song last week!!!!

Even looking at messages on the DIS is easier!! Thank Goodness!!

Oh I know what you mean! I couldn't believe the difference when I got Broadband. I could not go back to dial up again now.

Since you live in London, I'd go with Bulldog. Been with them for a few years and have never had any problems. I pay £30 a month for 4mb!

Had to go back to dial up for a couple of weeks while my ISP sorts out the new address after our house move.

It is great!! We now have three computers using the net at the same time and it is still faster than dialup. We are with tiscali on their 512kb service, £17.99 a month with 30GB cap, which is not bad.

I've been on broadband for over a year now and wouldn't go back to dialup either. If you can get Blueyonder in your area I would highly recommend them.

My BB has just been upgraded from 1 to 2mbit, and I pay £25.99pm for it, which is just superb, when I think back to pre-broadband days, where I was paying about £300 a quarter for my stupidly expensive ISDn connection.
I couldnt consider going back to a dial up now, it would be like buying a black and white telly !
