Doing a car boot sale on Sunday, I wonder if I sold my 2008 Brit guide whether I'd get away with having to pre-order the new one I cant resist the updated versions of Brit Guide or the Unoffical Guide, I know that most things stay the same but there just MIGHT be something I'm missing

I went into Waterstones today to pre order it and they didn't even have it on their system, looks like Amazon it is! I have been using my 2008 one so much, last night DH and I were going through the rides at Universal that he kids could go on - sooo cool!
I also have the 2009 on pre order with amazon it did say oct for release last time i checked!! i hope its not too much longer than that as we go in feb and the last copy i have is from 2005 so im gussing quite a lot changed since then ;-)

As someone who has never owned a copy of this could you tell me what the advantages are.
Is there information in it that isn't readily available on the net - or via this site?
I would definately buy it if I can be convinced that it is worth the investment as we are off again in February and October 2009.
Worth it for the park busy day guides alone, especialy if you have never been before. We strayed off the plan one day and found that the park was much bussier than we expected.
The only thing I would disagree with was that Islands on Adventure was liste for a half day activity, we could have spent the whole day there happily.
IMO both the Brit Guide & The Unoffical Guides are excellent reference material. Whilst the DIS is great for gaining additional information & being able to ask questions, it is nice to have a place to find all the relevent information without having to turn the pc on everytime, you can also take the guides with you to the parks.
I've used the Brit Guide to DLRP many times, the first time I didn't know about the DISboards so used the guide exclusively the next few times I used both the guide and the DISboards and found both relevent, but then I am a bit of a manic planner
My first visit to WDW is in Feb and I've been using both the Brit Guide, Unoffical guide, Disboards & TGM to plan my visit (see what I mean about manic planner ) and I forgot touring plans as well
