When I saw Aerosmith in Dallas, there is no way he wasn't doing a voice over. He was having health issues at the time.
Motley Crue before him? Too perfect.
Superbowl? Bruce Springsteen did sing live but the band was not. That was obviously because they could not set up a band in that short amount of time.
I think at times artists get very run down and cannot put up a full performance, so they may use voice overs.
It probably goes on alot more than you think is all I am saying.
Now Britney is in a class by herself. No comment there.![]()
Going to see Motley in a couple of weeks. Seen them many times, and perfect is not how I would describe them.
I heard about The E Street Band not performing. As is, it's highly unusual that any performer sings at the Super Bowl, but Bruce insisted on it.
I'm sure it does happen with certain types of performers. The Britney's, the Hanna Montanna's, etc. I think the type of stuff I listen to, I don't think it happens that much. I can't fathom U2 lip synching.
