We've flown with Britannia a few times, but not for a few years now. Seat pitch was pretty cramped - DH is 6'3" and found it very uncomfortable in the ordinary seats.

We paid for the bulkead seats and they were great - enough extra room to make all the difference. If they are still available for your flight, I'd say "go for it".

(When you say 'against the bulkhead', do you mean backing onto the bulkhead, or sitting facing the bulkhead? I'm assuming you mean facing, but then your wording made me stop and query it! I know nothing about the seats backing on to the bulkhead.)

This is probably not what you want to hear, but you did ask!!!!We never fly to Florida with Britannia, or any other charter airline, but we have flown long haul with them to join P&O cruiseships..as long as to Buenos Aires once, which was 17.5 hours. Sorry to say in my opinion they are deadly. The seat pitch was poor (and I'm only 5'3"), the meals almost inedible, the crew had an extremly poor attitude and had we not been fortunate enough to have 2 seats each, I think I should have been suicidal.

Scheduled flights have slightly more room and generally, the service and attention are a little better, though it has to be said that the Orlando flights are often rather like a charter flight as well.

If you have to take a charter, then my advice would be to upgade your seat if you can manage the cost...anything to make it better.
