I have booked through Travel City Direct but the plane is Britania Airways. Anyone flown with these before? What are your experiences good or bad?
Have they got a big screen or seat back screens ?

I flew about 6 years ago with them (only to Majorca) and they were fine, no delays or problems, cant remember about the tvs tho. :)

hi bozzley
We flew with Britannia last year we wont fly longhaul again with them. We will be flying with Virgin next time.
I really felt very cramped and closed in with Britannia they had no tellys on backs of seats if you want telly you have to fly scedule which would be Virgin or BA. Once they had the trollys for meals out at either end of the gang ways there was no way you could get out.
I was told by travel agent that brittania are chartered flight to Orlando, they are cheaper but if you want comfort then i reccomend scedule.
I also was not pleased when i was charged for drinks. We just got what we payed for.

we flew with britannia last year. if you've got premium seats or first class you get seat back with choices of films etc. If your in economy you just get small screens up above all along the cabin. I think there is one large screen at the front but cant remember.

The leg room isn't brilliant, but the service was ok, no choice with the meals though you just get whatever the meal is.

We've flown to Orlando with Britannia a couple of times before and will be going with them again this July. I suppose that says it all really - we wouldn't have gone with them again if we'd found them that bad!

However, we only use Britannia because it enables us to avoid Gatwick / Heathrow, and we probably wouldn't go in the economy section again unless the price was very attractive.

We weigh up the pros and cons of the price / dates available / departure airport, etc. before deciding which flight to book as those factors are all more important to us than simply which airline.
