Brita Water Bottle Filter

The last time we went to Disney ('02), we brought our Brita water bottles with us. They were really neat - they had little filters you attached to the top of the bottle, under the spout. They worked great - you couldn't even tell you were drinking the lovely "Florida water". It saved us SOOO... much money on water at the parks. We could fill them up anywhere.

Anyway... Has anyone used one of these water bottles lately? We haven't gone to Disney since '02, so we haven't been using the filters lately. We still have our bottles, but cannot find any new filters ANYWHERE. Has anyone seen any water bottle filters?

Bad news--they don't sell the replacement filters in the US anymore.

You might try finding them on ebay, or you can buy new filter bottles. We bought new bottles from
pur e wat er 2 go after reading about them on the DIS. You can find their website by googling pur e wat er 2 go (remove the spaces) and hit "I'm Feeling Lucky."

we bought the filters at the above mentioned site and used our own water bottle. you can use any 20 bottle like the kind soda comes in. Worked very well and were not so bulky as the britta bottles were. you will be very happy with them.

I resorted to buying a used bottle with filters, but I sure am glad I did. It cost so little and came in extremely handy.

Wow! that's a bummer. I was planning on bringing ours,but need new filters. Any idea why they were discontinued??

I read patent infringement I don't know if that's the truth though.

I was at CVS just last week and saw the replacement filters... no bottles though...

I know this thread started in April, however FYI Amazon has the Brita filters in a pack of two for $14.99.
