Brita Pitchers Fighting the "Funk"

Based on my last stay at Pop Century, a few years ago, the water had a very funky "minerality" to it.

For this trip, we'll be staying at Bay Lake Towers, with a group of 9. While buying cases of bottled waters seems to be the go-to, we are a bigger group and it could get costly/wasteful with all that plastic.

Has anyone had experience bringing a brita filter with them, and does it get out the "funk" you usually associate with Disney tap water?

Yes! I can't even brush my teeth in the rooms at Disney without gagging, but we bring a Brita sport bottle that takes all the nasty away.

Why not just buy water by the gallon and refill bottles and bladders?

I'm taking a Brita on the next trip.
I'm tired of dealing with 3-4 cases of bottled water.

And easy to carry them in the parks to fill up there as well.
