Where do you get these? I've never heard of them, but it sounds like they would solve the coffee water questions..also, thanks to another poster, got the Melita #2 filters..plus a couple of other things to share with you...
@ Target I found single serving cereal "bowls" great for DH :smooth: morning
cereal cravings, peel off the paper top, add milk, and VOILA! they had
cheerios, honeynut cheerios, apple jacks, special K, life, and frosted flakes
75/89 cents each!
@Walmart--not a food item, but after reading the "shock" thread, I grabbed
them as if they were diamonds---Nexpak instant hand sanitizers (gel)
package of ten individual packets--25 cents each--I bought 4 packs
we are a little less then 8 weeks out, but I've been trying to pick up things here and there, so I'm not running my tushy off at the last minute and forget things...plus..as and added advantage..I think about Disney Every Day!! :earboy2: 54 days and only 5 lb's to go!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if they even sell them anymore. I have bought them in the plumbing section at Wal-Mart. Last year, they were in the plumbing section at K-Mart on clearance. I picked up a bunch.

Brita Fill and Go bottles have been discontinued by Brita, but you can still find them if you look around a bit.

Most of the WalMarts in my area still have them and they have been marked down to $5 each (2-packs of replacement filters are marked down to $4). Some people have also seen them at Target, though I've never seen them at the Targets around here. I've also seen them at a few other stores like Giant Food (a grocery chan on the east coast).

Worst case, you can still find them on eBay once in a while, but you will pay up to $8 for them not including S&H.

If they are no longer available, do you guys have an idea for an alternative?
I've pretty much resolved that we will be buying bottled water in the parks as we go, but it sure would be nice to have something in the room for coffee, tea, etc. thanks for your help

We also got our Britas at Walmart last year. If you can't find the bottles, some have reported that you can get free ice water at counter services. The bottles are really nice if you can find them.

I bought them at Walmart last year. They are a must if you go in the summer!

NOTE TO SELF--MISSION FOR TOMORROW--GET WATER BOTTLES!
I really hope the have them!! thanks for the tip guys :grouphug:

Just ask where the Britaq filters and pitchers are; the Fill and Go bottles are on the same shelf. You might have to look around a bit, because the Fill and Go bottles are pretty small compared to the big gallon-size pitchers, so they often fall between the cracks and get pushed to the back of the shelves. Plus all Brita products are packaged in the same blue boxes, so they all kinda blend together like camoflauge!

This is what they look like:

I've seen them on eBay for decent prices. They are no longer being sold in North America by Brita but they still market them in Austrailia and you can sometimes find them on clearance at WalMart, KMart or local grocery stores.

The bottles are in a box--or were when I bought ours in 2003. They are small compared to their larger products, as are the filter packages.

They were in the kitchen faucet area of WalMart when I bought them. Our local WalMart's have been reorganizing things lately, so I have difficulty finding many items now!

I bought 2 off ebay a couple weeks ago. When I was at our local CVS yesterday they had 1 left for 7.99.

I bought mine last year in KMart--they were on clearance by the bottled water in our store, not the plumbing section (where I checked first). I also spotted them at Bed Bath and Beyond, and they carried a couple of different designs...the plain one that's pictured on this thread and another that I *think* had a soccer ball design on it. It's been a few months since I've seen them though...

Here's another option for you all.

I bought the one on the top right side. It fits most water bottles. Two come in the box. I ended up buying a regular empty water bottle that came in a bottle holder with a strap at Stop and Shop and the filter fit it perfectly! It saved us so much money! Only con is that you cannot put ice cubes in the bottle then but I just put the bottle with water in it in my resort room freezer each night.

We still had plenty of bottles and filters at one of my Wal-Marts last week. If anyone is desperate for supplies let me know (PM) and maybe I can help out? Am trying to ingratiate myself to this board as you have given me so many great tips already! BTW, I use my bottle at work b/c my cheapskate boss (yup, that would the the State government) doesn't even have a water fountain for us - tap water and refrigerator. I'm seriously considering taking my DHs bottle to work, too, so that I can drink from one while the other is getting cold.

I was just at Wal-Mart (Oklahoma ) today and they had them on clearance for $4.50.
