If Bristol feels that he isn't a "good father" and they aren't married, then they will have to sort it out in court. I am unclear about your comment regarding "horrible options for public office" based on Bristol Palin's situation. Anyone past puberty can become pregnant, and the most vigilant parents can have a DD who ends up pregnant. She made the right choice. She gave birth to the baby.
Why are you assuming that she broke it off with him? According to the report, it was "mutual", which means neither of them wanted to continue on with the staged marriage.
I guess he's the only one to fault in your eyes though huh, no Palin could ever do anything wrong!!!
