If Bristol feels that he isn't a "good father" and they aren't married, then they will have to sort it out in court. I am unclear about your comment regarding "horrible options for public office" based on Bristol Palin's situation. Anyone past puberty can become pregnant, and the most vigilant parents can have a DD who ends up pregnant. She made the right choice. She gave birth to the baby.

Why are you assuming that she broke it off with him? According to the report, it was "mutual", which means neither of them wanted to continue on with the staged marriage.

Why are you assuming it was a staged marriage? I guess, in your eyes Palin is to blame for everything even when you have no proof.

I personally think that getting married because of a pregnancy is not a good enough reason to get married unless you were really heading to the alter anyway. Bristol seems like a smart and level headed girl. I'm sure she an Levi can figure out a way to be good parents without getting married. Who knows, they are young and they may reunite. If not, they'll be OK anyway.

She's better off without him, he just gave me a bad vibe. She seems like a sweet kid who will make a great Mom and hopefully she'll find someone who will be a better role model for her son.

Not assuming, just using reasonable deduction based on the facts (and I could quite easily be wrong). Quite a bit different from just assuming that she broke it off with him when the story first broke and there were no details and/or facts at all.
