As long as you do not go overboard you are fine. Fruit? OK. Granola bars? OK. Drinks? As I already mentioned no glass. And do not bring in 15 of them at a time. If you bring a small number for your group that is fine. Cheese and crackers? OK. Bagels? No problem.
We brought food is just last Friday. As previous posters have mentioned, it seems to be OK as long as you don't go overboard. A Disney security person once told me that they don't allow picnics, which, I think, explains why prepared food is OK but raw makings aren't.
We brought some cheese and crackers, tea, honey, a few oranges and a prepared meal from an LA vegan restaurant.
I have also too, seen that....I did see once this family was turned away and they had to eat the lunch at the picnic tables outside the park before you enter the security check area.. and then this weekend I saw a family with a large duffle bag, the dad had to carry one handle and the so did the son, they tried to also take in a picnic the mom was carrying sodas in the cups.. anyhow they also got turned away..
