Bringing Wine onboard the Wonder (Alaska)

We will be on the Wonder in 5 weeks. Does anybody who did the Alaskan cruise know of any liquor stores close to port where we can get a few bottles of wine to bring aboard .... Thanks in advance !!

The closest BC liquor store (gov't run) is at Harbour Centre, which is only a block away from Canada Place. It's not the largest (so it doesn't have the selection as other stores located further away), but it should have what you are looking for.

If you head off and explore other parts of Vancouver, it should be noted that the government-run BC liquor stores (like the one at Harbour Centre) are usually a bit cheaper than buying from independent stores (like the cold beer & wine shops you might find attached to hotels). Saying that, due to government liquor taxes, it's always going to be more expensive to buy alcohol in Canada than it is in the USA.

I've been directed to a liquor store off Robson Street due to a better selection. It is about a 10 minute walk from Canada Place.

If there's a certain wine you are looking for (or liquor or what have you) you can look it up in the inventory on the BC liquor site and it will tell you the inventory of that particular product (or products) at each and every location around the province.

We walked up Granville Street just a block up from the Pan and the station. Big store on the concern can't be missed.

My wife and I were staying at the Marriott Pinnacle a couple of blocks from Canada Place. We stopped into Coal Harbor Liquor Store who had a good selection of wines and liquors. We picked up 6 bottles that we packed in a padded shoulder sling bag and brought it onboard with us.
