Bringing the Princess to Her Castle for the 1st Time!

Good to hear I'm not the only one! :) If he wasn't used to it, I'm sure my DH would think I was crazy.

Oh what got to me was when he said "Sofia do you know who my favorite princess is?" "Who Daddy?" "It's you Princess Sofia." OMG you could have sworn someone had died at my house. I was laying on Ben's chest & he looked down at me & said "Awww", then wiped my tears.:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

And I want a Cinderalla Castle Cake too!!!!

Oh my goodness, that's when I officially started up, too! I looked at Aaron with tears in my eyes and he smiled at me. I think I might have seen a little wetness in his eyes, too. Awww, how sweet of Ben. :)

When I first saw the episode I started researching how I want to do Ashlyn's birthday cake. She is turning 2 in September and we are having a Disney princess party (yep, I totally plan early. I think I started planning her 1st birthday party before she was even born. :rotfl:).

Speaking of birthday parties, Shelby's 1st will in in a month and a half! Where did the time go? I wanted to do Baby Disney Princess, but I could not find anything! So I made my own! The only problem is, I can't decide!! Can you guys help me? Let me know which one you think is best!

Hello, just found your PTR and I'm joining in. ;)

First of all, your kids are adorable. :goodvibes Shelby is beautiful and reminds me a LOT of my own daughter. ((Except she'll be turning 4 next month)) They look like they have the same shade of blue eyes and my DD also lacked in the hair department. She didn't start growing any until she was about 2 1/2. ((If you check out my PTR I have old pictures of her from our past disney trips, and you can see just how bald she was)) I was so excited the day I could finally put her hair up in a ponytail. :woohoo:

I also have a 10 week old baby boy who is bald, but that's different. Actually I think he has more hair on his head right now then she did when she was 2. :rotfl:

We're leaving for Disney in 9 days and I'm NOT looking forward to how much stuff I need to take for a baby, so I feel ya. If I can come up with any good solutions I'll let you know.

As far as your invitations go, my favorite is the first one. princess:

I look forward to reading more. popcorn::

Come on over. :) I would love more readers... I'm so excited for my trip next week.

LOL!!! That's exactly what Reya looked like too, ((Pebbles)) I'm actually going to have her get her first haircut when we go to Disney. She doesn't really need it yet, but I'm excited to finally fill out the "my first haircut" page in her baby book.

I'm doing Shelby's 1st haircut at Disney too. Not like she needs it, but I'm getting at least 1 lock cut off!:rotfl:

I hope Kolby and Shelby are doing better!

cute fabric and ribbon for Shelby's dresses! Such a nice thing for your friend to do for her!!

:yay: for DDP! I am assuming that is the one you are doing or are you looking at the QSDP and paying OOT for the character meal?

We are still driving :car: too. I price out flights about once every few weeks but by the time I add in parking fees, luggage fees and food still at the airports it evens out for us. So we are driving, which we are looking at as part of the fun!! (or so I keep telling myself :scared:).

Cute zoo pictures!! We love  the zoo.

I agree with the advantages of the DDP, having those meals paid for before we get there is so nice!!

I like number 4 best--my DD thinks they are very cute!

So cute to get her hair cut at Disney!! I have read a couple TR in the last few weeks with first haircuts at the Barber shop--they do such a great job!!

If DH is able to come with us in a couple of weeks we are planning on getting a little bit trimmed off of DD so we can get her first haircut there, too (if he can't it will just have to wait until our next trip... possibly September). She doesn't really need it, either, but we definitely want her 1st haircut at WDW!

Thanks everyone for helping me out!

Today I put Shelby's 1st set of pig tails in her hair! I'm on :cloud9: right now!
They are not even, but I don't have much to work with:rotfl2:

I love those pigtails! I'm impressed that you were able to get ribbon around them. That just makes it extra adorable!

I had to fold the ribbon twice so it was thin enough to fit:rotfl:but i was thrilled! She's learning to leave the ponytail in. The minute she pulls it out, I put it right back in.

I waited way to long to "train" DD to keep the bows in her hair. Good think you're starting early. The photos are sweet. :lovestruc
