We have been sifting through the Westbound Repositioning and discovered all these discussions about pin trading etc.(it made us ponder are they worth the effort?) Bill always buys tons of Disney momentos on every "special" occasion (appears every day can be "special" sometimes) but Bill got an e-mail from Mary-Jo (disney merchandise exec.) reassuring us that the LE pins have been upped to 2600 and that everyone will be able to get a momento!

She also indicated that there might be pins special to certain events on board etc (what that means I don't know but Bill's already guessing -LOL)

Yes, we also heard about the increase in edition size....it is great news that we won't have to sleep in the hallway onboard to get a set of pins (not that I would have anyway)!!!

We are booked for the DCL excursion Chiff Divers Show and Restaurant. Meeting time is 10:15. Denine, is that the one you are on? I agree with you about feeling safer doing it that way. We are still toying with the idea of cancelling it though and doing it on our own. But then again Roberto said that the chances of getting shade this way is greater and that is something very important to me. I agree with the meal, good or bad who cares when it comes to safety. Can you tell I am thoroughly confused? Glad I am not alone.

I love the bracelet idea but my wonderful dd got me a lime green one with Mickey heads on it.

I really need to start focusing on the cruise more and make some definite decisions. Can you believe how fast it is approaching?

Yes. That is the one we are going on. Now you can't cancel. We will have too much fun despite the food!

We are on the Chileano Bay (sic) Snorkel tour in the morning -- should be lots of fun.

I hope the water temp there isn't too cold for enjoying the tour.

We looked into this trip a while back, but had discounted it because their website mentioned sailings on Wed, Fri, and Sun. Another cruiser has said that they were able to book for 8/30. I sent an email and got the following response:

Val, we always cruise with 3 other DISers and they will be on the Curacao Canoe and Snorkeling as well. At least I know we won't be alone!

Denine, cool. We WILL have fun then! Glad you are on the Cliff Divers as well. We haven't made any definite plans whether to keep it or not but you being on it might help make our minds up. It would be fun! The Dudettes are on it too.

Has anyone played the online buzz lightyear game from disneyland. I played last night, but I didn't do very well. You go around shooting things and picking up things. Then you are supposed to hit these certain targets that are supposed to light up targets in the ride at Disneyland. When the guest hits those targets you get little green men you have to rescue. You play against someone on line, and you are playing with 1 car in disneyland. at the end it shows the total score for all 4 people. I played after the park was closed last night, by myself and still didn't get very far. If you know someone online you can play with them.
