Sorry I haven't checked the posts in a while, so is there a list of all the activities, times, and dates?

emailed my AAA agent about our documents, she said "I told you last week they were ready" What! I never received that email...I think she's been a little flighty, only answers 2 out of every 3 questions I've emailed. And I've only emailed a couple times, not enough to annoy anyways. So, tomorrow I shall drive over to the office, and then hopefully we will be all set

Time is rapidly approaching. We leave a week from tomorrow. Guess I better think about the packing and get the kids organized.

To all the girls who have been emailing DD11, Aimee, I appologize but the family computer has caught a virus and must be sent for repair while we are away. So i've only let her on my work computer a little bit. She is anxiously awaiting meeting everyone.

Seems as if many of us are having things hit right now. So we're experiencing other stress on top of vacation stress. Guess we all really need this break.

We leave in one week--AHHHHH--just have stuff set aside, not packed.

DS14 got his braces off yesterday (YEAH!). That is always a nice milestone

We pick up our old foreign exchange student at the airport today--he is staying for a week. It will be 99 when he is here--a little warmer than Warsaw!

I am just glad the lightening repairs are finished!

Now to work on the fish extender. . .

OK people are we all OK with changing it to 10 am? For those that have already left on their journeys (which I know there were some people who were doing the back to back etc) then we should still be hanging around at 10.30 anyway. I dont know about the Ice Cream Social however as I honestly cant remember who was organising this (sorry really bad at remembering things cant you tell). Anyway if there are no objections by tomorrow afternoon Ill get Lindsay (rikimuk) to update the navigator one last time and shove it on again with the new time. Also will put a note on room 7592 to reflect change of time!.

I'm not involved in the girls meet or the brunch.....but....moving the DIS meet to 10am is fine with me.

We just got all our passports. That was calling it close!!!! We leave Monday and were getting so worried.

Katey was disqualified in her pageant, because she wore a scarf over her shoulders. We are LDS and modesty is part of our religion, so she stuck by it, and they got mad. She was beautiful and delivered her speech with class, and the bathing suit thing wasn't as scarey as she had thought.

I feel a little like we were contradicting ourselves by letting her wear a bathing suit in front of a crowd, but wouldn't let her shoulders show, but as she said, strapless gowns are not allowed at church dances, but one piece bathing suit are allowed at church camp. Don't ya just love it when ya hear someone justifying something???

She did get a color picture in the paper, so she's happy. She wants to try again next year. She has her my competitive nature, but even I don't know if I can go through another pageant. I don't like my kids being judged.

Congrats to her on her accomplishment. Kudos to her sticking to her convictions. I really respect that. I'm sure the pageant was a great experience but peace with oneself and self-respect will last a lifetime.

Does anyone have a generic medical release form?

Just realized I should probably sign some sort of medical release form allowing the person who is keeping my son to get medical treatment. I've searched the internet and have only found sports forms or sites that want you to pay.
Does anyone have a form they could share with me? I supposed I could draft one from the sports ones I've found. But of course I'm trying to save myself the trouble of doing that.

Being a notary myself, I would think any notarized statement would work for you. I doubt it would have to be any more than a simple statement.

Lisa Marie - got to know from a notary's perspective. I figured as much, but wanted to try to find something somewhat legal.

Hopefully I can get this taken care of this afternoon. We have a notary here at work, so that's nice and convenient.
