Don't worry - DisneyVegas - T-Shirts have been designed - though I would love to get more suggestions.
This one from GBP - http://www.zazzle.com/product/235698436545152864

Plus - on Sat night we had a mini meet in PA - and discussed updating Verandahman's design for Part I - http://www.cafepress.com/verandahman
Updating the dates - and the saying - Renee has a copy of the design -

Also - Mel's husband - Bob - has a company that does t-shirts for him - so he is pretty confident that he can get them at cost

Dining - we don't need any help getting that organized - not with Mel -Bmwdsny on board - this will be her 3rd. time doing it - and she has a great relationship with DCL dining.

I really like the idea of shirts. My only concern is for others like myself who were not on Part 1. So a Part Duex shirt doesn't make sense for us. Hopefully there will be another design for us to choose from.

And the dinning thing sounds great. I'd love to be on the same schedule as other DIS'rs. I've already requested early dinning, what else do I need to do?

yes, i used the email 20% off AND the 9% off thru fatwallet! it was a huge discount!

Gotta agree with Got2travel. I like the basic design but that "AGAIN" part and part deux just doesn't have the same meaning for us, but I'd love a shirt.

I don't mean to sound uppity or seem like I think I'm better that anyone else, far from that but, ummm :worried: , not everyone may want to eat together during the cruise in one big group. I hope you all don't take that the wrong way. I mean we will be togther for 14 days and all. I'd still like to do some group things but I'm looking forward to spending a lot of quality time with my DH as we'll be celebrating our anniversary and he's gone M-F traveling each week all year long. I may not be the only one here who feels that way, either. I hope more solitary Disboarders fit in here, too.

:disrocks:

Don't worry BearFan. Just like any of the other activities that get put together by this board, the meal thing is completely optional. No one will make you eat with us. But for me, a single mom, it will be nice to have some other adults to share meals with.

We did put in for specific server and asst server just cause we know that they will be on this cruise

We have conflicting emotions about what we'd like to do. On our first cruise we had our own table for four, and with the family going in different directions all day, it was nice to catch up at dinner. On our second cruise, we linked ressies with several other DISers at a table for 10 and really, really enjoyed the company. Dinner was a wonderful social time that we looked forward to. We discovered that we didn't actually get much family time though, and I'm a bit fuzzy on what the kids actually did for that two weeks (though I know they had a wonderful time). Even early vs late is open to debate (according to DH) So we're still discussing the issue.

Don't get me wrong, one of our favorite parts of the cruise is to meet the others we dine with. We are still close friends with many of our past tablemates. As a matter of fact, we're hoping that a couple from England that we met onboard and have kept in close touch with over that past 8years will be on board, too. Thanks for the reassurances Disboarders, you're the best! :thumbsup2

Dining is optional - but fun :goodvibes

Mel - will be getting the list together - prob. in June -- since I don't she can start setting it up until 45 days from sailing.

Technically - it will be the second time - a group is bringing the Magic Back Home :thumbsup2

But - more shirt suggestions - are being solicated - plus - we need to do pins and such ....

I think - ordering the shirts (whatever designs) are picked - should be done from the professional vendor. Some board members have had problems in the past with Zazzle deliveries & Cafe Press. Once Bob gets a price - he can figure out mailing costs - and checks can be sent.:)

Sounds great to me

BearFan - don't feel that you must partake in ALL that the group does!

That's the beauty of this, you have the option when and where to partake!

I forgot to mention.

I have asked a friend who will be sailing in May to pick up extra copies of the Navs! This way we will have a better idea of what to expect.

Thanks Anita!

You are not the only one. My DH lives in another state and I am looking forward to 2 weeks with him. We are bringing our Dgd (11) but she will be off doing her own thing, which will leave time for us and some group stuff as well.

When we last sailed on the Magic in 2003 our tablemates were Verandah man and his wonderful family. Needless to say we had a great time and will be looking for some good company again this time.

On the subject of the T shirts saying 'bringing the Magic home', can we have one that say's 'we're taking the Magic back'?:thumbsup2

ian

Of course :thumbsup2 - but we need a logo for that one too - Any suggestions ?

Thought I would stop by and say hello. Hope all are doing well. We are getting cold here. Hopefully no snow this year. I would not complain if we had a mild winter.

I see they are going to announce the 2008 special cruise toward the end of this month. I would very delighted if they go back through the Panama Canal Zone as that is one of my desired cruises along with Alaska. So keeping my fingers crossed. I already rebooked for 08 while on the Nov Dbl Dip and am just waiting to move it. How many others would do do another repo?
