PLEASE - faireygodmother does NOT need any encouragement in that direction - she was THE posting queen on our 11/11 - and you had to tell her about a "mini"- this will definitely lead to NO GOOD!

All I can think about is finding a VERY lightweight rolling duffle bag - but I haven't started packing yet...well, not PHYSICALLY, only mentally

Go to ebags. You can do searches for lightweight luggage and they show you how much it weighs.

We're getting rolling duffles by Vitrionix. It's pretty large and weighs 9 lbs. Good luck.

Did you find them on ebags??? - I am always getting coupon offers from them and all my other lugage is from them...duh

It's been a long time since I've posted. Now that the Holidays are gone, hopefully I'll be able to start doing my part to get this thread moving along.

One of our friends from our last cruise had to cancel due to school conflicts and we were able to swap rooms prior to her cancelling, so we're now in one of the Secret Porthole cabins.

I remember on our last cruise there were over 100 people that linked together for dining. We all had the same rotation and sat near each other in the dining room. It was a great way to catch up on the days events and make plans for evening activities. Has anyone started a list for those that would like to link up for meals?

Thats a great Idea as we had done this on our Double Dip cruise a few weeks back ...we had about 150 Early LAP all sitting on one side of the dining room and the rest of our 250+ DIS group had Late APL also on one side of the dinning room .....Lisa (lbgraves) one of the moderators on this board was on our cruise and she organized the dining ..she worked her butt off and we all greatly appreciated all her efforts .... From what she said , it was alot of work but well worth it in the end ...So if anyone that wants to tackle that, she would be the one to contact ...

if you order your ebag thru fatwallet.com, you will get 9% cash back. . .my ultra-light luggage (weighs 7#) was normally $200per bag, after all the sales/discounts etc and the fatwallet cash back, the bags were $54 a bag--first time our family will have matching luggage. normally we stand at the luggage claim trying to remeber the color our last bag is. . .now we all will be "sky blue"!

Thanks for the tip! What type of luggage did you buy, and how has it held up?

Question ... Has anyone designed a shirt as of yet ??? I know I read on the first page that someone was and also a seperate website for people on the cruise ???? Can someone fill me in here ?? anyone ??

Thanks for the luggage tips. I am searching for lightweight rugged luggage.

And my notification for this thread keeps going south :sad2: Maybe a new post will do the trick.

Don't worry - DisneyVegas - T-Shirts have been designed - though I would love to get more suggestions.
This one from GBP - http://www.zazzle.com/product/235698436545152864

Plus - on Sat night we had a mini meet in PA - and discussed updating Verandahman's design for Part I - http://www.cafepress.com/verandahman
Updating the dates - and the saying - Renee has a copy of the design -

Also - Mel's husband - Bob - has a company that does t-shirts for him - so he is pretty confident that he can get them at cost

Dining - we don't need any help getting that organized - not with Mel -Bmwdsny on board - this will be her 3rd. time doing it - and she has a great relationship with DCL dining.

Thanks for the information ...I like verandahman's design but you did ask for sugguestions . So here is a couple ...

"Bringing the Magic Home" Has already been used - the way I see it , if your going to use that wouldnt you have to add "Again" to that ?? Something more Fresh and owned - we are a large group so why not "Were" , I mean we are the ones bringing her back , not actually steering the ship but ...LOL - and since they already brought the Magic home , why cant we bring Magic "back" ....So why not - " Were Bringing Magic Back" - This sounds like we have taken ownership of bringing the Magic back to its home port ... I did see a design of the East bound Repo and I liked the way the incorporated the Nautical Flags for the places we are stoping ...But I like the bow of the ship on Verandahman's design ....

Okay thats my 2cents ...Dont flame me , you asked .:lmao: :lmao:

So would LAP be the perfect rotation for early dining ???? 6pm always seems to be perfect - I never got the 5:30 or the 5:45 ....

I just got a 20% off coupon via email- can that be used if I go thru fatwallet? Also, as RobinMarie asked - what is the name?

Good suggestions - but the were should be We're - Bring the Magic Back home ... :goodvibes

I was thinking the update to Verandahman's Design - would be adding the Part Deux or Part 2 - since a lot of us did it the first time on the PC cruise.

One benefit of being the second group is we can get a feel for when the Formal & Semi-Formal nites are - and try if possible to get Lumiere's for that night.

Last cruise - that a lot of us did was the 8/19/06 Double Dip. That time Mel - put us on the APL - which got us into Parrot Cay for Pirates .

Ditto here for thread notification. Hope this helps.:)

Love the t-shirt!
