Pat you should consider becoming a travel agent. I was a little nervous about the reports, but then have decided that it was only a couple out of how many flights. We may have found a flight direct to JFK for 87.00.

It was something I was considering but all my friends have timeshaes (I own 10 weeks!) so I spend my leisure time coordinating all their travel
great price on the VA to JFK flight.....

I just called the Air Plus Comet and the weight limit is 51 pounds per bag - 2 bags per person....I did not call the connecting airline.

Ok, since I will be travelling to WDW on Friday, won't be able to do my usual...........I know poor me!

Therefore,

TGIT, It's Thursday and Almost Friday which will be one week plus a day closer!

I finished reading the thread and wanted to give a bump back to Page 1.

I have spent the day researching airfares, only to have my DH say it's too early to buy. Whatever!!

Well -- I'm back from my *surprise* 8/19/06 double dip cruise ....the look on some of the faces was priceless. Mel's husband - Bob - almost had heart failure in Parrot Cay -- he came in and announce - He was finally here - Benita & I snuck up behind him - and Benita - pulled him around and said - So are we ..... Great time meeting all the fools onboard ....

Then -- we got off on 8/26 - and limo'd it back to WDW - and POP . Our neice Belinda (age 6) was dropped off by her grandfather 15 mins. later. Since we had already registered - we went straight to Magic Kingdom. First week we did parks, water parks & took a day off to relax -- on Friday nite the 1st. the fun began - with the Grand Gatherings . Everyone really hit it off -- and it was great meeting Dee & her son Keith. After Illuminations, Janet & Tanya, Dee & Keith with Benita & I with Belinda - went on some of the rides. Both Dee & Janet had headaches - so we took the gang on test track. Then we moved on to Mission Space. Benite rode with Keith & Belinda on the low intesity version - and I do the high spin with Tanya. We then headed accross the park - to Soarin -- and rode as a group.

On Sunday - we met up again - and did some rides together ... incl. Expediation Everest - and then onto the Safari. Janet was leaving the next day for her flight home ... but Dee & I made plans to try to hook up at Fantasmic the next night during EMH.

Monday night - we meet with Renee, Lenny & Haley, Jenny & Jamie for Garden Grill dinner . Then Jenny & Jamie & our gang hoofed it to get to MGM. We rode the boats over - and Belinda as usual was full of questions. She ended up talking to the Capt. (Jamie was volunteered to go up to the front with her) - she got to steer the boat & to toot the horn twice when we went under a bridge. I tried to get hold of Dee - but the calls didn't get through. We arrived in MGM - got our bracelets and met up with Irving & Larry (also on the MED repo) . We arrived down at the entrance for Fantasmic just as they were starting to let people in. We entered the stadium and saved extra spaces. After we got in - Dee called - and I let her know where the group was sitting. Got to post the picture of Keith & Belinda talking (though Dee got a little bit worried when Belinda said she wanted to put Keith into her suitcase and take him home ). After the show we did a group Tower of Terror ride. Belinda said it was okay - so did Keith (didn't get his usual that was awesome) By the third & fourth drop - Keith did relax .... wish I could have explained more to him about the ride (that you aren't really being dropped - the elevator is being pulled down).

Robinmarie - we aren't bad Aunts -- Belinda decided that she wanted to go on it again - and that it wasn't that scary.

Dee - tell Keith - there maybe some hope - that Belinda might join us for the Med Repo. I quoted it on the DCL site - $ 1800 for her and her mother didn't flinch too bad.

Actually, I was worried because I knew Keith would be more than willing to climb into said suitcase...

After the show we did a group Tower of Terror ride. Belinda said it was okay - so did Keith (didn't get his usual that was awesome) By the third & fourth drop - Keith did relax .... wish I could have explained more to him about the ride (that you aren't really being dropped - the elevator is being pulled down).

He confided in me the next day that he really didn't want to do this ride ever again...I teased him that he only did it in the first place to impress Belinda (when we first got to MGM he was dead set against doing it) and he turned beet red and begged me to stop talking...Guess the truth hurts!!!! (bad mommy -- I love the chance to embarrass the heck out of my 10 y/o...)

Dee - tell Keith - there maybe some hope - that Belinda might join us for the Med Repo. I quoted it on the DCL site - $ 1800 for her and her mother didn't flinch too bad.

He keeps asking if she'll come...and duh...the price I was talking about at the Safari dinner was for a regular cruise this year...not the repo next year...Guess I was tired...I hope she gets to come. The image of them walking through EPCOT and Animal Kingdom holding hands is forever stuck in my mind...She's such a sweetie, and they're adorable together!

Though maybe you shouldn't tell her mom about the hand-holding!

Actually - Belinda's mother & Uncle (My nephew Eddie) had fun teasing her too the other night at dinner - her face was also beet red

Though Daddy is getting the shotguns ready for when she becomes a teenager......

Will keep you posted if they decide to let Belinda go on the cruise -- will have to post some pics of her as Cinderella ...
