Yeah, I'd say we're a pretty fun bunch of fools!

Congrats to everyone who booked successfully today. Those who had to sit patiently with their empty peanut butter jar, with one ear on the phone, and one hand on the keyboard...trying to book ressies in every way possible just to be able to say "I'm joining the ship of FOOLS!" Now we can all breath easier. Game on I say....game on! :yay:

I wonder if Mickey will dust off his bull-fighting outfit for Spain... THAT's a picture I want!

Goofy's my man! I would love to have me and the Goof with his Matador Outfit on!

Wow, just booked this cruise and the thread is already 15 pages long?? Yikes, I've got a LOT of reading to do! We're psyched to be bringing home the magic with you folks, and I promise to make time this weekend to read all of these pages. I need to find out how many 12 year old boys will be running around- 14 days is a long time and I want to be sure my son has lots of buddies on board!

So please add us to the list:

Name: sjcubedofct
Room: 7012
Cat: 8
Deck: 7
No in group: 3- Sherry(40), DH36 Scott, and DS12 Steven

Have a great day!

WE ARE IN!

sandygirl
Stan, Darlene and Sandy (turning 10 on cruise)
cat 9, deck 2
early dining

I need time to read this thread, but I see some friends are already here. :grouphug:

Darlene

We're in as well. Once again, sailing with the Ship of Fools! Cat 9, Deck 2, all three of us.

So here's my question for the day...

When was your last cruise? & where did you go?

I'll start. My last cruise was after a stay at SSR & a visit to the parks. It sailed December 1st (the Wonder). Talk about your transition! A 14 day Magic cruise in August and then a 3-day cruise! What a difference! My DH, DS and I went to good 'ol Nassau & CC and spent a couple of much-needed days in the sun. It was fun...any time on a Disney ship is great fun.

I'm cruise-starved right now. The 3-dayer just doesn't compare to the 7 or 14 as we all know! So I'm looking forward to the next couple of cruises coming up in 07!

Anybody else? Just curious where everyone has been lately.

Welcome all who booked yesterday!! :cool1: Pixie dust and patience were certainly required! Congrats!!

I think our kids will have plenty of possible friends on this repo. Our two DS's will be 11 and 8 at sailing. On last year's May repo, there were about 300 kids total. I'm guessing this one will be much different!

Hi,
Got into DIS to late for fish extenders in Panama , so maybe this time?

Room 6654 (ADA) with the huge verandah! Wahoo!

Linda and Daughter Cindy

Our last cruise was last minute in Feb 2006, on Royal Carribbean's Enchantment of the Seas for five nights, stopping in Jamaica and Grand Cayman. My son and my niece spent the better part of the cruise telling us how much better Disney's Magic is! And frankly, my husband and I agreed at every turn. We're not fans of WDW, but we love The Disney Magic Ship!

Our next cruise is the Halloween Disney Magic, visiting St. Martaan and St. Thomas, and we can't wait. That thread has 100 plus pages so far...and we're still months away from sailing! YIKES! I've got way too much to read.

AND to top it all off, we're moving from CT to NC in June or July. So we've got a busy year ahead of us!

Our first and only cruise so far was the May 2005 Panama Canal Repo. We had an incredible time. Our kids keep asking when we can go on another Disney Cruise. They are going to be so excited when they hear about this one. My DH and I are hoping to do a 7-day Alaskan cruise in Aug/Sept. on Holland America. We'll see how they compare.

If you sail out of Seattle we can have a DIS meet!

My last cruise was with my best friend Kat on the Magic, 2/4-11/2006. Keith and I are scheduled to go on the X-mas 10-night cruise, I can't wait!

Seems like a bunch of us are on deck 2! Yeah! We're in 2056, and so far a lot of the kids seem to be around Keith's age (10 at sailing). He'll be excited to hear that! Maybe we should start a kid thread?

Our only cruise experience is three nights on the Wonder, I can't even begin to imagine how great 14 nights on the Magic will be. A question or two for those who did the Panama Canal Repo:

1. How many Palo reservations could you make?
2. Was there nightly entertainment in the Walt Disney Theater?
3. How did the dining menu change? Was it just like one 7 night cruise then repeat as far as the menu rotation?
4. How many formal or semi formal nights?

I'll stop now, sorry!

I would love to read anyone's trip report from a repo if one is available.

Thank you very much, sooo excited about this cruise!!!l

1) I believe one tea, one brunch and one dinner.
2) Yes, I believe there was and one night was a movie PremEAR
3) Dining menu did not repeat. It was good!
4) 2 formal and one semi? I don't recall.

The report is long:

My dd and I will be repeat Fools (we're the quiet ones)!!

My ds refuses to miss August football practice, so we plan to spend some time visiting my dstepson (USAF, assigned to a NATO installation in southern Holland). Ds and dh will return to Virginia, and dd and I will continue to tour before heading to Barcelona for the cruise.

I'm excited about trying a sideways 11 (6019).

Can't wait!!!

I just finished your great report, what fun! Thank you so much!!

I feel if I "officially" join a meet thread, we end up cancelling our cruise....held true for the last THREE we had booked!!! So with fingers crossed, here's our info...

two-foxes
Jill (33) Tim (39)

Late dinner

We will most likely fly standby into London a few days early to save some cash, then head down to Barcelona by plane. Looks like flights are no more than $150 pp out of London.

Good lord, it is so far away!!

Add our name :thumbsup2

3 in our group
Category 10

We gave been on 3 DCL cruises and have 3 more booked! :teeth:

This is our first repo cruise....we haven't been on DCL since Nov. '99/Magic.
Every year we hoped to make it work and there was just never the extra moolah....even though this is a stretch, we are BEYOND excited!!! And our DD & DS were so little then, I think they will love it even more this time! This forum is so great and I'm so excited to find it! You guys seem like a lot of fun! Hope we can connect with you onboard! :wave2:
