Well, I'm going to Disney in June, and my grandma lives two hours away. I hardly ever see her, given that I live in NJ and she's in Florida.
So, I've decided to invite her along to dinner.
Any suggestions on where to go? I don't want anywhere in the parks, because she doesn't like the parks (why, I don't know). So anywhere in Downtown Disney or at a resort.
Any ideas?

If money is not an option, I would say the California Grill. You can see the beauty of the MK without having to set foot in it. Or for a less expensive meal, but with a relaxing feel to it, how about the Kona Cafe in the Polynesian? Their food is fantastic & it's a pretty setting.

Well it depends on your budget and tastes. I enjoy Ohana's or the Grand Floridan Cafe. If your willing to splurge maybe try Victoria and Albert's or the Cali Grill. My grandma and I are visiting both the CA and V&A during our June trip. I would suggest head over to wdwig.com for menus. Good Luck and have fun!

What kind of grandma is she? Is she the laid back snow bunny grandma? The "I may be a grandma, but I have the energy and personality of a 20something" grandma? Or the sweet grandma who needs to take things at a slower pace? I no longer have my grandma :sad1: but I have two great-aunts, one who fits scenerio #1 and another who fits scenerio #2.
Auntie #1 liked the Rainforest Cafe at DTD. Thought it was very cute, had a lively enough atmosphere that she could sit back and watch, and even though she is VERY picky when it comes to food, she really enjoyed her meal. She also really loves Bongos at DTD mainly for the atmosphere and the music. The food is decent Cuban and is also good for steak lovers. I don't believe she has eaten at a resort restaurant, but I believe she would love O'Hana's for the atmosphere and the food presentation.
Auntie #2 hasn't eated in many resort hotels, but I am dying to take to her California Grill at CR. I know that she would like the fine dining atmosphere, the view of the fireworks and the wine list. She also really enjoys the Boardwalk complex with all the different entertainment options and really wants to eat at one of the restaurants followed by a night at Jellyrolls. I think next time we shall try the Flying Fish with her!

Have fun with your grandma!!! :)
