bringing back unopened bottles

I fear I may be bringing too many bottle of wine/champagne and also was thinking of buying a bottle of the "FairyTale Cuvee" on board as a souvenier to bring home. Will I have a problem bringing unopened bottle/bottles back in? We are on the 1st West Coast Cruise in/out of LA, so if any of you have experienced this, especially the port I'm in and out of, I would appreciate your experiences.
Chances are I won't have any leftovers Plus I could always give the bottles away as tips, but I would like the FairyTale Cuvee as a souvenier.
