Bringing a First Timer to WDW...

I'm going to be making my 10th trip to Disney World this spring with my g/f. This will be her first trip. I'm trying to get her as excited as possible for this...which isn't that hard. We will be staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter...I've always stayed at the Wilderness Lodge or the Contemporary, can you all tell me your impressions of Port Orleans. Also since this is her first time to Disney, what are your suggestions to making it as magical as my first time. I'm a Disney veteran...but any suggestions would help.

My best advice: Don't over schedule and try to pack too much into one day because you want her to see EVERYTHING you love so much. Take your time, don't rush - and don't be disappointed if she doesn't like everything as much as you do. Some people are immune to pixie dust.

And don't try to cram every little inside secret and unknown tid-bit down her throat. A first trip to Disney can be overwelming enough.
