Bringing a Disney Wedding Home

Hey all!

So my fiancee and I are getting married in May 2008. We'd like to bring a little Disney home for our wedding.

We're interested in a Mickey/Minnie Wedding Cake Topper and Toasting Glasses.

Anyone have any good ideas where to look for them?

We'll be at WDW July 13-21 so we can look there...can one go to the Wedding pavilion and buy things to take home for a wedding? Are their shops that sell these items? Maybe Arribus Bros?

Also, I went to the fairytaleweddings.com website and there is a pic of a cute wedding cake topper but can't seem to find it listed on the site. Know anything about where I might find this one?

Would love to hear some ideas.

If you go to almost any of the shops at downtown Disney like "world of Disney" you will find the mickey and minnie and cinderella cake toppers. Arbas Brothers would be a great place to get glasses.

Are their a variety of toppers to chose from? Cause when I google search, there is only one or two I can find.

there is lots of stuff out there aimed at disney themed weddings, but its all about what you want

Disney offered the cake topper & knife set in their stores at one point....down town disney should have a good selection

when we got married at wdw...we went to germany, i think, where they engrave glass & we got a curved glass frame with wedding mickey & minnie & our wedding date worth every penny

I have seen the Mickey and Minnie that is used on the Intimate cakes. Also a few different Cinderella ones. There are also crystal ones. I would just look around and i'm sure you will find lots of fun things.

That is exactly what we did last March. We found our Mickey and Minnie cake topper in the Grand Floridian shop. It was on the first floor. We also bought our Mickey and Minnie toasting flutes from the shop inside the castle. They were very reasonably priced. We also got the free engraving at a shop on Main Street. I'm so excited to use them!

When I was in the Grand Floridian they had the cake topper glasses and knife set in the store in the main lobby.

I was a cast member on Main Street back in 2001 and in the Jungle from late '01 until early '03....but I was nothing but a bachelor back then and never really thought much about wedding stuffs. Look at me now! LoL

As for us..we're having a family wedding here in Kentucky...May 17, 2008. An outdoor ceremony and a reception at a nearby church hall. We're trying an outdoor-sy spring theme for the wedding. But we both love Disney as well. So we thought we'd have some Mickey/Minnie details to spice things up. Wish we could afford the DFTW. But I think things are shaping up well.

So does anyone know if Francks or the Wedding Pavilion have anything you can buy outright and take home?

We're doing the same thing because we can't afford to have a wedding down there. But, we said that we'll bring a lil of Disney here. We're getting married at a beach resort here and it would be perfect because our wedding is going to be beach themed. We're sooo excited!!!

I think that I'm going to start getting some things here real soon for weddings and stuff. At least that way, I'm not trying to buy all of these things at once!!
