Does anyone know if you are allowed to bring your own water into US or IoA? My wife thought she read some where that you couldn't anymore.

We stopped bringing in a water bottle after the freestyle machine got installed. Just grab a cup and get ice cold filtered water at many locations.

Thanks for the tip. We were thinking of getting water with our groceries from Garden Grocer. I guess we just have to decide whether it's worth the effort to bring the groceries with us to the Disney hotel when we leave Universal or just have Garden Grocer deliver groceries when we arrive at Disney. Decisions, decisions.

We still bring our water, sodas, powerade zero, and snacks for the room. Also we brought our red fillable cup this past week and we never took it in the parks with us. We strictly use the small plastic water cups and freestyle machines. We will order something for our meals at sit down places, they don't do red cup refills or freestyle.

Have you ever had to lug food with you from one hotel to the next? This is our first year we are doing a split stay, so I'm wondering if it's worth the effort to do that versus spending more money in the parks?

i do it.

i book private car service for a three leg need.
i get the grocery stop once i leave mco for disney.
after disney, i go to universal.

i always buy on the grocery stop some snacks, case of water and a few sodas.
my driver always handles my items so it is not an issue for me to take care of.

once i arrive at the universal hotel, bell services delivers my belongings to my room.

there are times i don't want to go back out in the evening once i am in my room.
i'm fully supplied with whatever i need from the grocery stop.

if i decide i want a late meal, i can go to one of the hotel restaurants or use room service.

We drive our own vehicle so for us it's not a problem. But as Mac said, just do it as the savings is way more than just a few dollars unless it means nothing to you.

We visit Universal one to two times a month so every bit we save gives us more trips.

We have too in the past, but I'm not exactly sure what my wife was reading to make her think that we couldn't this time.
Maybe because Back around Mardi Gras I think they had issues with people bringing in liquor in water bottles ,I think they weren't allowing them at the time .

At this point, I think the water bottle ban is limited to only evenings when something is going on in the parks like HHN or a concert.

Is the ice cold filtered water Florida water that is filtered? If it is does it have a taste to it?

We're getting a car service. So not sure how long its going to take to bring down all the luggage and food.

Is is possible to bring down our own stuff on a cart or trolley?

I've heard that too. Someone mentioned that if there are garbage cans at the Security checkpoint that means you can't bring your own water bottles in.
