Bring Your Own Breakfast/Snack Items

We were just there a few weeks ago. We brought in a plastic ozarka water bottle every morning. I am pretty sure it needs to not be a glass bottle.

Are you only allowed (1) bottle per person or can you take in more. We are big water drinkers and would need at least 3 or more bottles per day per person.

We could probrably deal with 3 bottles each because I know you can choose water for your choice of drink with meals andwe are staying at DLH so we could easily go back to our room for more.

I would prefer not to refill our water bottles, I would rather take in a few bottles per person.

I know they have lockers there, would a cooler bag fit in there? And does anyone know how much the lockers cost each day?

Sorry to be so picky about this, but everytime we go we spend to much on water when we could be using it for something else.

I would love to hear anyones ideas on this and what you do?

i believe last time we were there 2 years ago, they were full price (50th anniversary buckets).

is there anywhere that gives free refills of anything in the park? there are people selling e-guides on ebay on how to get free refills of stuff, and i'm thinking to myself, if these unsuspecting folks came to the boards, all the info would be free!! i heard there are some e-guides that suggest you BUY or ASK people for their used tickets while they are coming out of the park so they get free admission.

There is no way you can reuse a ticket as far as I know. They are very strict about stamping your hand for readmission, and if the card has already been swiped the computer knows if it's already been in the park. They always tell you when you leave, have your hand stamped and have your ticket ready to come back in. Otherwise you are out of luck. So if someone tries to get in without their handstamped "too bad too sad!"

To Zena, I bet you could take all the water you want with you. Don't think you will want to lag it around, so get a locker. But I think they cost like $7.00 per day, so I don't know how cost effective that is.

Yes, I'm sure you could bring in lots of water. And keeping it in a locker is smart; I've heard a water bottle purchased in the park is $3 or more, so yes, it would be cost effective.

The only thing they really won't allow is a huge cooler, the type with wheels that you pull around. They don't allow anything that you pull around, I think because it is hazardous for others who may not realize you are pulling something and trip over it.

I bet you wouldn't have any trouble bringing in a smaller cooler that you carry on a strap, and certainly not an insulated lunchbag kind of thing.

Today I picked up a McDonalds Halloween Treat Pack for a $1.00. It comes with 12 coupons that kids 12 and under can redeem for the following:

Free cookie or child size soft drink
Free baked pie or child size soft drink
Free small cone or child size soft drink

There are 3 of each coupon.

There is a McDonalds on Harbor Blvd. this offer might be worth it if you are traveling with kids and are staying on Barbor or near a McDonalds.

Thank you or Mahalo as we would say in Hawaii to everyone who anwsered my question , that really helps and its nice to know we can bring our own and we don't have to pay an arm and a leg for water @ the park .

I believe you can buy them at any McDonalds. On the back of the coupons it says it can be redeemed at any participating McDonalds but I'm sure most do. It really is a good deal. My ds loves the apple dippers and those are usually $1.29 each. I had to buy 2 books!!!
