Bring your Dog(s) to see Santa at Downtown Disney!!

SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN
You can bring your leashed dog for a photo with Santa. There will be a grassy area behind Once Upon A Toy where the dogs can be walked.


At the Marketplace, you'll find Santa Claus waiting to greet you at his chalet. You can take your own pictures or use PhotoPass:

November 15 - 27, 2008: 5 to 10pm

November 28 - December 24, 2008: 12 - 10pm

Where did you get this info???
I have sean it in the Orlando Sentinel too but I have just spoken to WDW and they say that the only dogs allowed are Service Dogs.
I also know that the grassy area you speak of is not even available to SD anytime of the year....I know as I have a SD.

Very cool indeed! Not only to have the photo op, but just a good excuse to get the pups out when we arrive. We like to hit the Earl for lunch before check-in and this way we can give the dogs a break from the MoHo too! Thanks for the heads up on another dog-friendly place in the World!

Now spoken to DTD guest services and it is true, but you can not go in any shops are outdoor eating areas.
But WDW phone info number still say NO!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited about that! Also do you think the busses will allow me to ride the Disney bus to Downtown Disney? How else will I get there?? Just kidding- I can picture them lookin' at me like I'm crazy.......if I tried to board a bus with my 3 pups!

a few years ago i belonged to a dog training club. we were invited every year to be in the milwaukee christmas parade (on tv on thanksgiving). we got a school bus to tak us all downtown. here are a few pics.

it's funny seeing the people dress up the big dogs. little ones know that they will get the attention. but, the big ones just look like "do i have to do this?"
