When we travel I like to bring the 8 oz ready to feed cans for my DS. It's so nice to not worry about mixing formula or keeping it cold and then reheating. But being the obsessive packer that I am I wasn't sure if I would find the Similac cans in Orlando. Like we're traveling to another country or something. So I bought 6 packs of the ready to feed. We're driving down but I was already warned not to pack any groceries. So do you buy yourformula there or pack it too?

I bring my formula. It is different then packing groceries. I am sure they will have it there, but I like to be sure and not have to look for it if a store had sold out. I just pack it and have the bell hop bring it in with our bags. I use canned powder, but I bring a couple cases of bottled water usually. If you are staying on site, I only remember them having Carnation products. But if you have a trip planned to the grocery store, you should be able to find it. Once we went on vacation to a fairly populated florida island. We got there later than expected and all grocery stores were closed. I had used/wasted twice as much as I had planned and ran out. I had planned on going to the grocery store when we got there. Had to go back to mainland and find a Walgreens open 24 hours. Not what I felt like doing after being stuck in construction traffic four hours longer than planned. I am sure that would not be the case in Orlando, but when a babies hungry I don't want to have to worry about it.
