Bring back the Poop!

If they couldn't bring back Flynn, I don't see this working at all. Lol

I didn't know they were pulled. That explains why they weren't there when we were in AK about 2 weeks ago. We went in the shop looking for them but didn't see them.

Shame people have to complain about everything these days. Don't like the idea of the treat, don't eat it. Wish Disney would've put their foot down and kept them available.

While this is rumored to be the reason the poop got pulled, I would guess that sales were poor. If it was a moneymaker, Disney would have it available despite any complaints. Also, reports were that it tasted pretty much like it looked...

Change.org must be loving Disney right now. Every closing or removal brings a new petition and with it, a whole slew of new email addresses from those signing it.

You can't really gage sells after only having them out a week

they sold really well, I talked to several CM at the shop. The official reason they are giving is that they were doing it as a test and once they sold out they decided to not make anymore...
They pulled them because people complaining about them ;)

No, but if they got enough complaints about the taste, that could definitely make them pull it.

Everyone that tried it said it was good. They pulled them because of people's complaint. Many guests said that they're vacation was ruined when they saw them :faint:

Agreed that it's not the best gauge of long-term sales, but if the main people buying them were Disney bloggers and most guests were walking in, browsing and leaving...I still think sales could be a factor.

This could very well be true, but if the poop sales were genuinely better than the cupcake sales, I have a hard time believing Disney would have pulled it.

Not true. Len Testa has been frequently quoted as saying they were not good at all.

Those people must have been having terrible vacations in the first place if they managed to be ruined by some fudge and no-bake cookies. :sad2:

Really bad idea, no matter how they tasted. Novelty edibles for adults can be cool and funny - lots of very small children in WDW.

My kids are 4 and 5 and I think they are fine. They didn't even say poop on the sign when you walked into the shop... the signs said "MATCH THE SPECIES: GARAFFE" or "MATCH THE SPECIES: ELEPHANT" I guess that wouldn't even matter since very small children can't read anyways. '

Even if I didn't like it for my kids and my child asked what they are I would say 'they are brownies but you wouldn't like them' and move on.

My boys were reading quite well at 3, but thanks for the clarification on the signs. I did not see them myself.

Ruined? C'mon! Some people just have no sense of humor! I had to break my poor 83yo mother's heart telling her they're no longer available-she'd made me promise to mail her some next time I was at WDW.

Part of me was hoping they'd still be there during our next trip, but it does seem like a bad idea. I love it because it's out of character from how Disney has been operating lately. Of course, I don't feel like they would be a winner with guests.

Zuri must moonlight at the Wildlife Tracking Center!lol:)

Yep - that has been there for a LONG time. I just don't get the "attraction" or "distraction" from something every living species (that I know of) does.
